Forest Adventure is a treetop obstacle course at Bedok Reservoir Park. Suitable for kids as young as five years old, it is a wonderful way for little ones to experience the outdoors and have a taste of adventure at the same time.
Forest Adventure has been recently revamped with a brand new obstacle course that provides tremendous fun for all ages. Here are 10 things you should know before visiting Forest Adventure at Bedok Reservoir Park.
1. Forest Adventure has Rope Obstacle Courses Suitable for Kids and Adults
Forest Adventure’s Kids Course is designed for those between the ages of 5 and 10. It consists of 22 obstacle crossings with 2 zip lines. To take part, kids must be a minimum height of 1.1 metres.

All participants below 18 need to have a Risk Acknowledgement and Disclaimer form signed by a parent or guardian.
2. Children Below 7 Need to be Accompanied on the Course
Kids below 7 need to be accompanied by a parent or a buddy who is at least 14 years old. Each accompanying buddy can be responsible for supervising a maximum of 3 kids only.
3. Prices at Forest Adventure
The price for the Kids Course is $36 per child. The price for the accompanying buddy is $20.
The Grand Course price is $50 per participant and $46 for tertiary students on weekdays. For its opening, Forest Adventure has a special price of $46 per participant for the Grand Course.
4. What to Wear on the Course
Closed-toed sports shoes are a must. Sandals, slippers and loose-fitting shoes are not allowed on the course.
It is also recommended to wear trousers or Bermuda shorts to protect the skin from chaffing against the safety harness and in the event of rubbing against the rope obstacles.
5. Safety System at Forest Adventure
Unlike traditional high ropes course where each participant has a belayer on the ground accompanying him or her, the course at Forest Adventure uses a continuous safety line that runs through the course. Participants need to thread their safety equipment on to the safety line and trolley it along with them as they move through the course. This means that there are no instructors on the course. Participants will need to navigate the course on their own.
6. Participants That Are Stuck Get Help
Forest Adventure allows participants to challenge themselves without an instructor there pushing them along. Occasionally, this means that the participant faces something that stops them in their tracks. If a participant is stuck at an obstacle, an instructor can head up to guide him or her through the obstacle.
7. Make a Booking Before You Go
Before making your way down to Forest Adventure, make a booking online or over the phone. This way, you can be assured of being able to do the course when you are there. If you do not have a booking and there are too many people waiting to do the course, Forest Adventure may turn away walk-ins.
Having said that, if you have made a booking and for some reason cannot make it, be courteous and give a call to Forest Adventure and let them know you would like to cancel your booking. There could be a walk-in who may wish to take your timeslot.
Bookings can be made by calling 81007420 or online at the Forest Adventure website. No prepayment is required unless you are booking for 10 participants or more.
8. Arrive Early
Participants need to go through a safety briefing before attempting the Forest Adventure course. This is conducted at regular intervals. If you have made a booking for a timeslot at Forest Adventure, target to arrive early. If you miss the briefing for your timeslot, you will be asked to wait for the next briefing before you can attempt the course.
9. Forest Adventure is a 10-minute Walk from Bedok Reservoir Road
Forest Adventure is located at Bedok Reservoir Park, close to Temasek Polytechnic.
For those driving, park at the Car Park A along Bedok Reservoir Road, opposite Aquarius Condominium. From the car park, walk past the children’s playground and the PA WaterVenture site and you will arrive at Forest Adventure. It is about a 10-minute walk from the Bedok Reservoir Road car park.
10. Bring a Water Bottle or Coins to Buy a Drink
There are vending machines providing snack and drinks at Forest Adventure. You can bring your own food and drinks as well – something that will be welcomed after being on the Forest Adventure course.
