Jurong Bird Park showcases different species of birds from around the world. These include elegant pink flamingos, nocturnal owls, vibrant birds of paradises and majestic birds of prey. With different shows, feeding sessions and activities taking place around the park, here are five Jurong Bird Park timings that you need to know about.
1. Jurong Bird Park’s Opening Hours and Ticketing Counter Timings
Jurong Bird Park is open every day of the year from 8.30 am to 6 pm. The ticketing counters open from 8.30 am and closes at 5.30 pm.
2. Jurong Bird Park Timings for Shows
There are two main shows at Jurong Bird Park.
The High Flyers Show takes place at the Pools Amphitheatre and is a spectacular showcase of parrots, hornbills, macaws and other bird species found at Jurong Bird Park. The High Flyers Show takes place at 11 am and 3 pm daily.

The Kings of the Skies show displays the prowess of birds such as the eagle, hawk and owl. It takes place at the Hawk Arena at 10 am and 4 pm daily.
3. Jurong Bird Park Timings for Feedings
Watching the birds being fed is a great way to see the birds at their active best. Keepers will also be present to provide visitors with more information about the birds.
On weekdays, bird feeding timings are in the morning.
At 10.30 am, feeding sessions take place at the Waterfall Aviary and Penguin Coast. Visitors can also purchase food at these sessions to feed the birds.
Slightly later in the morning at 11.45 am, there are feeding sessions at the Hornbill & Toucan aviaries and at the Wings of Asia aviary.
On weekends and public holidays, additional feeding sessions take place in the afternoon. Visitors can purchase food at these sessions to feed the birds. The sessions are:
1.30 pm – Flamingo Pool
1.40 pm – Dinosaur Descendants (Ostriches)
2 pm – Pelican Coast
2.30 pm – Waterfall Aviary
3.30 pm – Penguin Coast
4 Birdz of Play Opening Hours
Birdz of Play is Jurong Bird Park’s children’s playground. It consists of a dry play area with swings and obstacles, and a wet play area with fountains gushing water and splish-splashing features.
The dry play area opens from 8.30 am to 6 pm.
The wet play area operates from 11 am to 5.30 pm on weekdays. On the weekends, public holidays and school holidays, the watery fun starts up earlier at 9 am.
5. Lunch with Parrots Timings
When it comes time for lunch, you can choose from kiosks found close to the Pools Amphitheatre or head over to the Songbird Terrace for a mealtime treat, Lunch with Parrots.
Lunch at the Songbird Terrace is served between 12.30 pm to 2 pm with the parrots making an appearance from 1 pm to 1.30 pm.
