Light To Night 2021 returns to the Civic District, bringing a dash of colour into the evening hours around the historic precinct. Light to Night 2021 Highlights
Art Skins on Monuments
One of the key highlights of Light to Night 2021 is Art Skins o Monuments. Four buildings around the Civic District, namely National Gallery Singapore, The Arts House, Victoria Theatre and Asian Civilisations Musuem will be lit up from 22 to 31 January, 7.30 pm to midnight. The Civic District light up will encompass seven surfaces on these four national monuments, each with a different theme.
Art to View
During Light to Nght 2021, the art will not only be on the monuments but also around the grounds. In front of the Asian Civilisations Museum, check out Ways of Seeing by Zarch Collaboratives, or gawk at Arrive, Arrive by Guo-Liang Tan at the National Gallery Singapore’s Padang Atrium.

Extended Museum Opening Hours
There will be extended opening hours at National Gallery Singapore on the weekends of Light to Night 2021. What’s more, it is free admission to all.
Performances!!
Live artists are back! The Sari-Sari Philippine Kulintang Ensemble will be sharing about the musical style at the Victoria Concert Hall on 30 January. Tickets will need to be purchased from sso.org.sg. There is also going to be music at Esplanade but with limited spaces available.
Augmented Reality at the National Collection
Go on your own self-guided exploration at the DBS Singapore Gallery and UOB Southeast Asia Gallery with your smartphone and see the National Collection come to life through augmented reality. Another reason to pay a late night visit to National Gallery Singapore during the Light to Night 2021 festival.
