Hi everyone, like many of you, our office is closed and the team at Little Day Out is now working from home.
It is a difficult time for everyone in Singapore (and around the world) as we strive to keep our loved ones safe, deal with the financial impact of the COVID-19 situation and adapt to new ways of doing things such as home-based learning (HBL).
We are especially grateful to doctors, nurses and all in medical services who continue to work at the frontlines, even as we stay safe at home. We are also thankful for everyday heroes like hawkers, restaurant workers, supermarket and provision shop staff, and all providing essential services. Thank you to teachers too who have to adapt to HBL alongside with us.
Little Day Out’s mission has always been to spread a dose of positivity and unite parents and families. We aim to carry on doing so during these challenging times. In fact, it is through this circuit breaker period that the importance of families and bonding together come to the forefront. We will continue sharing ideas on how to meaningfully spend time together at home, useful information and encouraging stories that emerge from this crisis. It is the small way that we’d like to help you get through this trying time.
We have also seen many of you with wonderful ideas to share. If you also wish to uplift others, please write in to us and we will help you share them with others.
Though we may be self-isolated, we are not alone.
We are all in this together and we will get through this.
Stay strong.
Stay united.
Stay in.
