While some may be heading to Changi Airport to fly off to Disneyland for the holidays, Mickey and Minnie themselves will be at Changi Airport during the holidays.
Disney at Changi Airport
This year-end school holidays, Changi Airport takes on a Disney-inspired theme. Terminal 3 Departure Hall will host the Mickey Mouse Club House Bouncy Castle where children can take turns slipping their way down a three-metre slide, bouncing of Velcro walls and diving into a ball pit. Open daily from 12 pm to 10 pm, a minimum spend of $30 on any same-day receipt allows a single entry.
Fans can look forward to appearances by Mickey and Minnie Mouse at meet-and-greet sessions on 19 to 20 December at 1 pm, 2.30 pm, 4 pm, 5.30 pm and 7 pm.
In additional, children are also welcomed to take part in a Community Art Wall project. They can get creative on tiles that will then be pieced together on a larger art mural. Other activities planned include ventriloquist puppeteers and roving performances.
Six limited-edition Christmas plush toys featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse in various country-themed costumes will also be available for purchase.
To add to the fairy-tale atmosphere, a three-storey, interactive Neuschwanstein Castle has been setup at the Departure Hall. The inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle, it will be part of an eight-minute multi-sensory show.
The festivities at Changi Airport take place from 14 November to 5 January 2015.
