The NTUC Income Kite Festival Singapore presented by ACT 3 International is back for its fifth year with the theme, “Winds the Bind”. Since the first Kite Fiesta held in 2008, the Kite Festival has grown in popularity, attracting an estimated 58,000 people in 2012.

This year, kite enthusiasts can look forward to even more fun, flying festivities with different events scheduled to be held all over the island between June to September 2013.

Fly High in June with Two Events

The bumper month of June will see two festival events, Kite Giants – Big and Wondrous, and the Children’s Kite Carnival, taking place.

Kicking off at Tampines Fields along Tampines Industrial Avenue 3 on 1 and 2 June 2013, Kite Giants – Big and Wondrous is a community kite-flying fiesta where some of the world’s largest kites, even bigger than houses, will take flight. Get enthralled by stunt kite performances by teams from the US, Japan, Indonesia and Singapore, and get in on the action by putting your kite into the air as well.
