Beauty in The Pot VivoCity is the restaurant group’s largest outlet yet.
Spanning over 10,600 square feet, Beauty In The Pot – which is right next to the brand new library@harbourfront on level 3 of VivoCity – boasts 400 seats, in addition to two 12-seater private dining rooms that can be opened up to be used as one large space, perfect for intimate family get-togethers.
As you step into the restaurant, you certainly will be overcome with “a breath of fresh air”, just as they had intended what with the fresh and vibrant interior design. As a patron in Beauty In The Pot, it wouldn’t be remiss of you to think you’re dining out at sea on a cruise ship as you gaze at the sweeping views of the sea and Sentosa.
Premium Hot Pot Ingredients
Beauty In The Pot at VivoCity offers the new and improved Signature Beauty Collagen Broth, which boasts a richer and sweeter flavour as compared to its predecessor, the Shark’s Cartilage Soup.

A medley of conpoy, chicken, chicken feet, pork bones and pig’s trotters is boiled for many hours, resulting in a broth that is thick in consistency, rich in collagen, and indescribably umami!
Specially selected to match seamlessly with the soup, Beauty In The Pot offers a variety of fresh ingredients ranging from meat and seafood to vegetables and noodles.
Some of the must-try items include the Signature Homemade Fish Tofu ($2.20/piece) which is homemade using a secret recipe consisting of ingredients like yellowtail fish, soya bean and egg white. The smooth, soft and delicate tofu is skilfully prepared and has a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Another item that is handmade daily is the Ebiko Prawn Paste ($18.80) which is made with 100% prawn meat. Texturally, the ebiko lends a nice juicy crunch, so I’d highly recommend this!
Dedicated Play Room
As much as I love a good hot pot meal shared with friends and family, it has been especially hard to enjoy such a luxury since my daughter’s come along.
But when I heard about a play area in Beauty In The Pot at VivoCity, I honestly could not drive any faster! And wow, the play area did not disappoint.
Beauty In The Pot’s play area is one of the first things that greet you at the entrance. Decked out in hues of pink and yellow, I was suitably impressed that the enclosed play area is fully foam padded, complete with slides, a climbing frame, mesh wrecking balls, and monkey bars!
A sign at the entrance reminds you – and your children – to leave your shoes at the door, so please remember to do so. After helping ourselves to the hand sanitiser, my daughter was off familiarising herself with the play area.
Brightly lit, the play area is perfectly safe for toddlers age 3 and older; if pre-walkers or crawling babies want to get in on the action, I’d say, “Go for it!” As long as it’s not too busy because though reasonably well-equipped, it isn’t a spacious and sprawling play room, so you don’t want babies getting in the way of excitable and rambunctious older children.
There aren’t any dedicated seats in the play area for parents or caregivers, although I did see some mummies sitting off to the side of the climbing frame where there are some steps. That said, it would be safe enough for parents to leave your children in the play area for a little while since it is enclosed.
I really appreciate that Beauty In The Pot VivoCity decided to turn this space into a proper mini-playground, instead of just chucking some plastic slides and rocking horses on top of foam floor tiles, and then calling it a day. As much as I would love for my child to be sitting at the dinner table throughout, the reality is that it’s hard for the under-10s to comprehend the concept of socialising, and they do get awfully restless.
This mini-playground in Beauty In The Pot VivoCity really allows them to expend all their energy which is great on so many levels! Burning calories means being hungry (hungry enough for lots of yummy hot pot goodness), and it also means they’ll be out of my hair while I stuff my face silly.
