The free, space-themed Marina Square playground on Level 3 provides a spot for simple play within the shopping mall. Conveniently located close to shops frequented by families like Kiddy Palace, it provides a place where kids can be distracted for a while.
Marina Square Playground: Free Space-themed Play Mall Playground
The main play structure at the Marina Square space playground is a grey, two-level climbing frame.
With a dash of imagination, kids can play pretend that they are on a space station flying through space as they make their way up and down the cubic-shaped climbing frame.

The compact play cube even manages to squeeze in a short blue and orange slide where kids can jettison themselves out of the structure.
It also incorporates various play panels. However, these depart from the space theme and feature animals instead. And quite honestly, kids don’t seem to mind.
Let the Imagination Blast Off at the Marina Square Mall Playground
What is in keeping with the space theme at the Marina Square playground are the smaller play elements orbiting the main climbing frame.
There is a cute UFO which is being piloted by a little green alien. Behind it is a blue comet complete with a “tail” that doubles up as a little ramp.
There is also a satellite with a tunnel that kids can crawl through. It is an innovative way to theme a play tunnel.
Even the Marina Square playground’s soft padded floor has a stars-and-planet design. Kudos to the designers for paying attention to details such as these to try to tie it all together.
A nice touch to the playground’s are the kiddy rides that can be found on the fringe of the padded area.
Of course, before you let the kids blast off to have a fun time at this mall playground, please observe the rules to remove their shoes before they enter the padded grounds of the playground.
Free Marina Square Space-themed Playground
There aren’t that many shopping malls in town that have play areas for kids. The others that come to mind are Paragon and 313 Somerset. Therefore, it is nice that Marina Square has set aside this space for kids.
The free Marina Square mall space-themed playground can be found on Level 3 of Marina Square.
In addition to this small play spot, there are two other paid indoor playgrounds at Marina Square – Kiztopia and Pororo Park Singapore. You can also find other kiddy-related activities close by such as several clusters of coin-operated kiddy rides.
