Featuring a display of games, models and artwork from primary and secondary schools in Singapore, the PacificLight’s Crea8 Sustainability competition showcase displays upcycled works by young children in Singapore that creatively reuse, repurpose, and recycle waste to create positive change.
This showcase is in line with the upcoming World Nature Conservation Day, which falls on 28 July. Visitors can head down to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery, where the showcase is held, from 14 July to 9 August, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm to admire the works.
PacificLight’s Crea8 Sustainability Competition
The PacificLight’s Crea8 Sustainability competition was established in 2016 and aims to encourage young Singaporeans to step up to the challenge of tackling environmental issues by reducing their carbon footprint and leading a more sustainable lifestyle. It started as an art competition but has since evolved to include essay and video components to enable more skill sets to participate.

Crea8 Sustainability Showcase
The Crea8 Sustainability showcase allows visitors to take a tour through a wonderland of trash to treasure as they go on an immersive and educational journey for people of all ages. Visitors can look out for Interactive games inspired by the ‘green’ movement as well as an array of unique artworks and models by primary and secondary school students.
Parents can use the showcase to introduce the importance of sustainability to their kids in a fun and interactive manner. Visitors can also book a complimentary guided tour through the Sustainable Singapore Gallery. Pre-booking is required and can be done here.
