Four colourful light installations will be adding festive cheer to the beautiful city skyline of Marina Bay. Each sculpture aims to embody the spirit of creativity and hopefulness.
Four New Sculptures At Marina Bay
The various installations will take on various forms including a kaleidoscope of colours on a treetop canopy, an abstract clockface projection display that showcases the community’s New Year wishes, an immersive projection of a galaxy of stars onto treetops, and a collection of lighted inflatable bird structures.
The first installation is the one that represents a “kaleidoscope of colours on a treetop canopy” It is located near the Promontory@Marina Bay and has beautiful rainbow lights lighting up the path.
The second installation is the “clockface projection display” located opposite the Marina Bay Financial Centre. This projection display is one that members of the public can be a part of.
Those who wish to have their wishes included in this projection can DM them to URA or add the hashtag #MBSCWishes in their post public social media posts.
The third installation is one that brings the unique sight of an “immersive projection of a galaxy of stars onto treetops”, near the Red Dot Design Museum. This installation lets the trees become a pretty shade of blue.
The fourth installation is a “collection of lighted inflatable bird structures”, towards The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Visitors can admire the different looks of these cute bird sculptures in the day and at night.
Where to see four new sculptures at Marina Bay
These scriptures are located at the Marina Bay waterfront promenade and will be on display from 8 pm to 10.30 pm nightly for the rest of December, with extended display times on 31 December.
