Nestled in between Blocks 420D and 422A is the Punggol Northshore Drive playground, a spot where kids can enjoy plenty of play amongst the structures of houses or huts, raised off the ground and offering opportunities for imaginative fun.
Huts in the Air: Punggol Northshore Drive Playground
Punggol Northshore Drive Playground with huts faces out towards the water that meets with Sungei Punggol.
Some may call it a treehouse playground but there isn’t much to suggest trees in the design of the children’s playground.

Instead, the Northshore playground next to Block 420D is made up of multiple huts.
The most impressive of the hut structures at the playground consist of three huts, interconnected by various bridges.
Kids can start off at the bottom or lowest hut and then slowly make their upwards towards the taller structures.
The wooden looking huts are accessible via various stairways.
Different types of slides also provides another element of play that kids can enjoy.
The tallest slide is connected to the hut right at the top of the structure. This highest hut is interconnected to the lower ones via a tube tunnel bridge.
From the top hut, a twirling tube slide makes its way back down to the ground.
These set of huts in the air are plenty of fun for older children with the top hut offering a nice view, especially with the water close by, just across from the Punggol Park Connector. We like the little details like a bird house on one of them too!
Huts Playground for Younger Kids
For younger children, there is a lower, standalone hut. This also offers plenty of chances for younger kids to get in on the action and also has a yellow straight slide that kids can enjoy.
There is an even lower one with a red slide too!
Getting to the Punggol Northshore Huts in the Air Playground
The Northshore huts playground is a great place for kids to get outdoors and enjoy some active fun in Punggol. It is only about 260 metres away from Northshore Plaza along the Punggol Park Connector promenade in the direction of Punggol Point Jetty.
