What’s On Sale at Gift.ed by Turtle
The store is split into three main sections.
Year-end Holiday Camps: Discover Fun and Exciting Camps for Kids; Book Early
Dec Fun: Get the Best Ideas for the School Holidays
To the left is a huge selection of gift-ready products – think plushies, stationery, hair accessories and the like that would be perfect as gifts. There is a small party-goods section as well.
The middle section of the store is dedicated to all the DIY options, from t-shirts and totes to jewelry and flower bouquets, and even bobbleheads and decoden. You will definitely be spoilt for choice!
Over on the right of the store is a spacious crafting corner, all set up with tables, chairs and even aprons which you can utilise to personalise your gifts.
Our DIY experience at Gift.ed by Turtle
After spending some time browsing what was on offer, we opted for a little straw tote with iron-on patches ($10 for the tote and $2 for the patch), as well as a beaded charm bracelet ($20, $38 if you opt to do it in-store).
1) Iron-on tote
The process is simple enough – pick your item, select your iron-on patches, check out, and the friendly sales assistant will help to stick it on by means of a heat press. Besides totes, you can opt for a variety of other goods such as pouches and key rings.
There is a pretty wide selection of iron-on patches available, but we decided on something simple – a cute little duckling, because baby sister loves ducks.
The heat-pressing was done by a staff member, and took only about 1 to 2 minutes.
2) Beaded Charm Bracelet
The process for this is simple as well – choose your strap, select and arrange your beads on a tray, then string the beads together.
You can also choose whether to make the bracelet on the spot in the crafting area (for an additional fee – besides use of the facilities, this also includes guidance from the staff and drinks), or bring the materials home.
We opted for the latter as we were slightly pressed for time.
My 3 year old was over the moon with the vast array of choices available, but naturally gravitated towards her favourite pink sparkles and cute food charms.
Here’s the finished product. Ta-da!
