Be S.U.R.E Together
The Be S.U.R.E Together outreach held from 15 June to 20 October is all about leveraging Generative AI for public good and safeguards against online threats such a deepfakes and scams.

Head to the community hubs to experience free hands-on activities and educational resources on information literacy co-created by NLB and its community partners.
Take the interactive quizzes to see how well you fare in discerning Gen AI content. Check out audio-visual resources on Gen AI and deepfakes to build up information literacy skills.
Learn more at live demos and talks on Gen AI tools and digital inclusion by local tech companies, as well as workshops by SURE Learning Community. The SURE Learning Community is a newly formed partnership with CheckMate, a ground-up group of volunteers that helps to factcheck information.
Connect, collaborate and discover more about information literacy topics and skills at the community outreach at various locations. Besides learning, the public who wishes to volunteer as NLB’s SURE Ambassadors or with CheckMate can find out more about opportunities. This will definitely help more in the community with information literacy skills.
NLB’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ng Cher Pong, said: “Beyond offering a deep dive into the fast-evolving Generative AI technology, we want to empower Singaporeans with timely knowledge and skills to harness the potential power and navigate the challenges of today’s digital landscape. In the spirit of LAB25 to foster an Informed Citizenry well equipped to thrive in the digital world confidently and safely, we have scaled up our outreach efforts and will also set up the SURE Learning Community this year. In collaboration with our partners, we will continue to push on with our efforts to help more Singaporeans be S.U.R.E. together.”
