Bidadari Park is a new 13-hectare park that is inspired by children’s classic Winnie the Pooh’s Hundred Acre Wood. It includes a brand new Bidadari Park playground and retains a rustic feel that makes you imagine that you have been transported to a different place and time.
Bidadari Park: A Walk In The Woods
Bidadari Park lies at the heart of the Bidadari estate. The wooded park features more than 5.3 km of trails that stretch their way through greenery.
A dominant feature of Bidadari Park is the 1.8 hectare lake. Known as Alkaff Lake, the water body serves both recreational purposes as well as helps to play a role in flood prevention.

Within Alkaff Lake, there is the Rain Tree Island, a little tree filled island. You can take a walk down to the footpath just beside Alkaff Lake for a better view of the island – when the weather is good. That’s because the footpath is designed to be submerged in the event of heavy rain.
Bidadari Park Playground: Adventure Playwoods & Tembusu Lawn
Families will gravitate their way towards the Bidadari Park Playground. Also known as the Adventure Playwoods, this is a location within the park that invites children to enjoy the magic of childhood.
It is a bird’s nest inspired playground with a spiraling entry at the main bird nest and another long passage up. There are two slides down from different levels.
At the centre of the Bidadari Park Playground is a red towering structure set within a sand pit. Kids can climb up the playground structure at Adventure Playwoods and imagine that they are a fun adventure in the woods.
At the very top of the 5-metre tall treehouse play structure, a metal slide mades its way back down.
The Bidadari Park Adventure Playwoods tower’s observation pod looks just like a bird’s nest. Another play feature here is a zip line where kids can fly through the air.

It has all the elements for kids and families to enjoy a time out in the Hundred Acres Woods-inspired park.
Just next to the playground at Bidadari Park are the Rolling Hills. Take a stroll along the meandering gravel paths next to the small mounds.
In addition, a stone’s throw away is the Tembusu Lawn. This verdant ground is an open space for all to enjoy. Seats lie scattered around for visitors to site back and relax.
Marshland Boardwalk, Woods and Raptor Nest Platform
To the north of the Tembusu Lawn, and across the Sang Nila Utama Boulevard from Alkaff Lake, is a wooded area and the Marshland Boardwalk.
There are two marshlands here – the upper and lower marshlands.
The boardwalk of the Marshland Boardwalk winds through the lower marshland and helps to preserve nature while allowing visitors to enjoy the marshland habitat.
You can also take a walk through the wooded area. While doing so, keep a look out for another feature of Bidadari Park: a 20-metre-tall raptor nest platform.
This tall platform is designed to be a perch for raptors like the white-bellied sea eagle. You can be sure that there will be plenty of birdwatchers flocking down to Bidadari Park to catch the sight of birds in the trees and using the raptor nest platform.
You can also sit in a bird hide to watch birds perched on a lower height or feeding in the lush vegetation.
Heritage Walk: Connections to the Past
Bidadari Park occupies an area that is rife with history. To capture this, there is a Heritage Walk that consists of signboards placed along Sang Nila Utama Boulevard, the main throughway that goes through the park. It is interesting to pause and learn about the history of Bidadari Park.
Another space that captures the heritage of the area is the Memorial Garden. However, this will only be opened in 2025. The memorial garden will pay tribute to the history of the Bidadari Cemetery.
Hillock Section of Bidadari Park
Bidadari Park is also connected to the Woodleigh Glen and Woodleigh Hillside HDB estates by a land bridge over Bidadari Park Drive. On the HDB estate side, there is a hillock where more nature awaits with paths that make their way up the hillock.
Kids and families can check out more playgrounds in the estate, such as the Woodleigh Glen playground and Woodleigh Hillside playgrounds.
Getting to Bidadari Park
Bidadari Park is also connected by a bridge to Woodleigh Mall. There is also a car park at the park which is accessible from Sang Nila Utama Road.
