Those who want to get up close to the Indian rhinoceros can do so at Night Safari’s new feeding programme.
Open for booking from 17 February 2022, the Night Safari rhino feeding programme will feature Newari, one of two Indian rhinos that arrived in Singapore last April.
Over the last six months, Newari has been prepped by Night Safari’s animal care team to get ready for the interaction sessions. Aside from the chance to feed him, visitors will also get to interact with the animal care team.
Booking the Night Safari Indian Rhino Feeding Session
To participate in the feeding programme, visitors need to make a booking online with a contribution of $10. Proceeds from the feeding sessions will go towards supporting conservation projects in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The feeding sessions will take place at the Indian rhino habitat next to Night Safari’s East Lodge at 7.30 pm on operating day. Available slots are limited each evening.
