In the blink of an eye, there’s only half of the school holidays to go! Looking for an easy-to-execute last-minute getaway for the family?
LEGOLAND Malaysia has always been a favourite with my troupe and we recently made the easy drive across the Second Link to discover, to our delight, that festive cheer has arrived at our well-loved familiar haunt.
Brick-tacular Holiday 2022 at LEGOLAND
For the entire month of December, Legoland’s Brick-tacular holiday celebrations are running at the resort. Besides holiday décor aplenty and a host of Santa’s elves busying themselves across the LEGOLAND Theme Park, Water Park, LEGOLAND Hotel and SEA LIFE Malaysia, a replica of Santa’s Toy Factory has sprung up @ The Beginning (the entrance plaza) of the theme park.

What would LEGOLAND’s Santa’s Toy Factory be without…well LEGO Santa! Meet him at Santa’s House and snap a festive photo with him.
Kids can also pen him a special letter and drop it into Santa’s Mailbox, after all, he knows who’s been naughty and nice!
To get into the spirit of giving, kids can, under the guidance of some very helpful elves, build a gift for their loved ones at Ollie’s Fun Factory.
The regular live shows that @ The Beginning have also taken on the theme of the season, with shows like LEGO Friends Christmas, Elves Fun Factory, Nutcrackers ALIVE and All About Christmas happening twice daily. Thursdays to Sundays, additional special Christmas dance and magic shows have been added to the line-up.
And if you’re feeling lucky, with a minimum spend of RM150 at any of the theme park retail outlets (not hard to reach if you have rabid lego fans consistently pleading with you, like I do!), you stand a chance to win some pretty attractive LEGO sets in Annual Advent Calendar Draw. Winners are announced daily at the Farewell Show of the day, also @ The Beginning.
And of course, who could resist a shot in front of the giant LEGO DUPLO Christmas Tree, which came alight as the sun set!
Aside from all the action at the theme park, the LEGOLAND Hotel is also celebrating with Christmas shows and a Dance off with Santa’s Crew, and SEA LIFE Malaysia, with various activities to wish you a Merry Fish-mas!
