A Nordic and Sanrio mash up awaits at Changi Airport during the June Holidays 2017. Stop over to sample experiences from countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland with a dose of kawaii thrown in.
Around Terminal 3’s public areas, there are plenty of photo opps and interactive activities with a Nordic flavor between 26 May to 26 June 2017. Plus, you can also have the opportunity to meet your favourite Sanrio friends such as Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars and Gudetama at Changi Airport during the June school holiday break.
Nordic Adventures at Changi Airport
Taking pole position in front of Changi Airport Terminal 3’s Departure Gate is an exposition of the Nordic lands. The Viking connection with the Nordic region is underscored with a huge frame of a Viking ship.
The exhibition has sections dedicated to the different countries.

Try remixing the hits of Swedish supergroup ABBA in a fun, turntable activity.
Over at the Denmark section, kids can play with building blocks, a world-favourite Danish export.

Even Pompompurin is getting in on the action as a Viking with his own mini-Viking ship.
Get Frozen – It is Snowing at Changi Airport During the June School Holidays 2017
Over at Check-In Row 11, you can also take pictures with kawii Sanrio characters in Nordic settings.
But for the full Nordic experience, redeem a pass to enter the Snow Fun House. Set up in collaboration with Snow City, you can redeem a pass for two to enter the Snow Fun House with a minimum spend of $60 ($80 for supermarket purchases) in a maximum of 2 same-day receipts for 20 minutes of icy fun.
There are fixed time slots to redeem your pass for. Children below 7 years old will need to be accompanied by a person above 12 years old inside the Snow Fun House.
Limited entry tickets are available on a first-come-first served basis.
Meet Sanrio Characters at Changi Airport During the June Holidays
Fans of Hello Kitty and friends will be glad to know that the Sanrio characters will be holding meet-and-greets during the weekends.
A minimum spend of $60 ($80 for supermarket purchases) in a maximum of 2 same-day receipts is needed to redeem 1 meet-and-greet pass. Each pass admits up to 4 persons for 1 photo shoot with the characters, using their own camera.
The venue for the Sanrio characters’ meet-and-greet at Changi Airport during the June school holidays 2017 is at the Terminal 3 public area near the Skytrain Platform to Terminal 1. They will take place at 2 pm and 7 pm on the respective dates.

Fans can also redeem a Sanrio Character file with a minimum spend around Changi Airport, and top it up to Tote Bag for an additional $5.90.
Visitors to Nordic Adventures also get to vote for their favourite Sanrio Characters (Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, Gudetama and Little Twin Stars).
Voters stand to win tickets to Sanrio Puroland and the crowning of the Changi champion and the Champions Announcement event will be held on 26 June, 2pm.
