Food Stations and DIY Pita-Making Experience
There is a wide variety of salads to choose from, with choices such as the Roasted Maple Pumpkin and Walnut Salad and Spicy Gochujang Potato Salad await guests next to the free-flow drinks station.
Food stations line the buffet and guests can look forward to tasting juicy roasts straight from the rotisserie station to their plates.
From Australian Angus beef prime rib to tender roasted chicken, a hearty meal is guaranteed for meat-lovers.
The Japanese Station serves generous portions of sashimi, with free-flow ikura, tobiko, ebiko and aburi chirashi dons.
Adventurous eaters may be inclined to try the sushi with unique twists, such as the Sichuan Mala Ika Nigiri and Spicy Tuna and Kaffir Lime Leaf Sushi.
The Seafood on Ice Station boasts a selection of chilled clams, mussels, flower crabs, lobsters, crayfish and oysters. The seafood is replenished quite fast, so you can have your fill of seafood to your stomach’s satisfaction.
Guests can make their own Turkish Chicken Pita at the DIY station, and have fun deciding how they want to wrap it.
Singaporean flavours featured are Salted Egg Jumbo Tiger Prawns, Black Pepper Clayfish, Prata Puff and Curry Tiger Prawns, Chilli Crabs and more.
We visited on a Friday and had the chance to taste the Spice Marinated Whole Baby Lamb Rotisserie which was surprisingly tender and had little gaminess.
At the live stations, we got to try the Hand Skewer Arif Satay, Prawn Bisque with Crab Meat and Hazelnut Oil and Seafood Okonomiyaki. We would recommend going for the satay, which was well-seasoned and fragrant. On the contrary, the Seafood Okonomiyaki tasted cold and soggy, probably as it was made as a batch and placed on the counter for some time, at least for the one we had.
The desserts section was popular with the kids, with some who have returned for repeated rounds of the Peanut Butter and Jam Croffle with Fresh Berries Served with Soft-Served Gelato. The dessert menu includes a range of local delights like the Nonya kueh, cupcakes, mini tarts and mini cakes.
The Chara Brasserie buffet costs from $58+ onwards for adults and $34+ for children.
