A new mini road safety park has opened at Choa Chu Kang where kids can cycle, scoot and pedal their way around a little road course. The Choa Chu Kang Mini Road Safety Park provides a fun environment for kids to pretend that they are driving around around like the adults do while also learning how to be safe on the roads.

The Choa Chu Kang Mini Road Safety Park occupies a section of the open space that is bounded by Blocks 208 and Block 11.
The road course is designed for kids and features a whole network of roads that kids can ride or pedal around. The roads are paved and have road markings such as traffic arrows painted on them, just like you would find along the real road.
Traffic Signs and Markings
There are also various traffic signs including markings for pedestrian crossings that go along with zebra crossings.
Other features on the mini road safety park course include mini yellow boxes. Kids may have seen yellow boxes on the roads. At the Choa Chu Kang mini obstacle course, the yellow markings can not only be used to educate kids on the purpose they serve but it also gives them a chance to practise keeping them clear.
To get the most out of the Choa Chu Kang Mini Road Safety Park, it would be best if kids could bring along their scooters or even their ride on car toys. They can then make their way around the course while parents can play the role of pedestrians or other road users.
Another thoughtful feature that can be found at the Choa Chu Kang Mini Road Safety Park is the seating areas that have been scattered around the park. Parents and caregivers can rest at these seating areas while kids have their own adventures.
