If you’re looking for a way to spend time with the family that doesn’t involve sitting on the sofa in front of a screen or arguing over who ate the last cookie, Dino Putt, the new dinosaur-themed golf putting course in Jurong is here to save the day!
My husband and I just picked up golf and were hoping for something that would spark interest in the sport for our children. The last time we tried to sell the idea of doing golf on the golf course together as a family to them, there was a lot of moaning and groaning because of the walking and heat. Needless to say, they never went again after that.
Dino Putt: Mini Golf in Jurong
We brought two teens, a tween and a 6-year-old to Dino Putt to take a whack at mini golf on a Saturday evening and there wasn’t any crowd. Fortunately for us, the weather was cloudy and cool.

After filling up a quick online indemnity form, we were directed to an area just past the driving range where buggies would ferry us to the putting course.
Mini Golf Tee Off at Dino Putt
At the entrance of the putting course, there is a small stand where the staff set each family member up with a suitable putter and a golf ball.
Upon request, they also provide score cards and little pencils for you to keep score. The staff also scored brownie points with me when they had mosquito repellent and sunscreen on hand – I had clean forgotten about that!
Before you begin, there is a little practice area for you to try putting golf balls before any competitive rage kicks in. I was grateful for that.
Dinosaur Themed Mini Golf: Fun Layout & Design
The course is truly an exciting experience!
As soon as you step onto the greens, you’re greeted by life-sized dinosaurs that are just as good at photobombing your shots as they are at providing some seriously fun obstacles.
They move and have sound effects too! I liked that there were also informative write ups about each dinosaur when we walked past them.
It was all quite family-friendly! The holes are simple enough for your 5-year-old to enjoy, yet challenging enough that you won’t feel like a golf pro when you inevitably miss that last shot (again).
Each hole got progressively harder with bends, humps and bunkers to navigate through.
There is a pathway where the animal rides pass through the course, which also accommodates strollers quite nicely.
The flow of the course was smooth from hole to hole, with neat little steps that guide you to the next section. I should also add that the turf was very new, soft, and lovely to sit on.
As a large family, we took turns to complete each hole and the six of us leisurely completed the 18 hole course in about 1.5 hours.

Additional tip for those who are planning to drive to Dino Putt: there is ample parking along the whole stretch along the establishment. Park just outside block B for the most convenience. Remember to bring an umbrella along if the skies look heavy- the putting course has no shelter!
There are plenty of food options available and a golf shop selling cute golf accessories in the area.
I highly recommend Dino Putt for those who love dinosaurs, fun challenges, and not taking life (or golf) too seriously. The older kids are now open to playing golf like this again!
If you enjoyed this story, we think that you may also enjoy other mini golf experiences in Singapore. Did you know that there are two other mini golf experiences in Singapore? UltraGolf is Singapore’s only beachside mini golf course and can be found at The Palawan. The other is Kulnari Mystery Golf. Set in a shophouse, it combines mini golf with an escape room type experience.
