The book is written by children’s author Emily Lim-Leh and illustrated by Josef Lee. The medical input is from Dr Darryl Lim, one of the 48 paediatricians who stepped forward to provide telemedicine support for children under the Home Recovery Programme and the paediatric team.
The importance of Telemedicine support
According to Health Minister Ong Ye Kung who shared this resource on his Facebook, Telemedicine support during the Home Recovery Program has been vital. Doctors manage an average of 100 to 200 paediatric cases daily.
“With the right resources and information, we can further demystify COVID-19 and its recovery process.”, shared Mr Ong Ye Kung.
