Pay a visit to Smith Street in Chinatown for a day filled with pulsating dragon boat races, vibrant cultural performances and various festive activities at the Chinatown Dragon Boat Festival. This take place from 12 pm to 6 pm on 7 to 9 June 2024. Enjoy cultural workshops like rice dumpling making and rice wine tang yuan making as well.

Find out more about the rich history and cultural origins at an exhibition titled “Dragon Boat Festival: Of Thumping Drumbeats and Delicious Dumplings”. Learn bout the significance of rice dumplings and how they are made by different Chinese dialect groups as well as how dragon boat races came about.
You can also get a $5 wish dumpling, a mini rice dumpling sachet, with 100% of your donations go towards supporting APSN in the empowerment of individuals with mild intellectual disabilities.
Other family-friendly activities include lantern riddles, storytelling, dragon boat craft workshops, traditional childhood games including pitch-pot, hopscotch and five stones.
Admission to the Chinatown Dragon Boat Festival is free but tickets are required for selected workshops.

Go on an enchanting night dragon expedition, Glow PAddle, as part of PAssion Wave’s 50th Anniversary celebration activities.
Under the guidance of certified dragon boat trainers, participants will embark on an exhilarating journey into Marina Bay aboard stunning LED-lit dragon boats to view selected artworks of i Light Singapore 2024 on water, all while being immersed in the historical narrative of PAssion Wave’s legacy and Singapore’s iconic landmarks, delivered by tour guides.
