Everton Park is an old neighbourhood that is sandwiched between Neil Road, Cantonment Road and Everton Road. Just opposite from Pinnacle@Duxton, where you can visit one of the highest rooftop gardens in Singapore, the old neighbourhood has seven old HDB apartment blocks but also some of the trendiest cafes and bakeries that you can find.

Dearborn Granola does breakfast their own way. Helmed by Chef Christopher Kong, the brand focuses on quality, offering hand crafted, small batch breakfast food that is proudly made in Singapore. At their Everton Park outlet (they have another one at New Bahru), you can order their Granola Bowls, toast (we hear that their sourdough is really good), in-house sodas or cold brew coffee.

Morimori Yogashi
At first glance, you might overlook Morimori Yogashi as a regular HDB bakery and bread shop. But it is actually a Japanese-style bakery. Founded by Chef Terrian Lim who has had stints at Marina Bay Sands Hotel and several luxury pastry shops, Morimori Yogashi offers tasty bakes including Fujisawa Garlic Bread and Japanese Mentaiko Seaweed Cheese Bread. You can also get warabi mochi and shio pan at this Everton Park bakery.

Ji Xiang Confectionery
A stalwart at Everton Park is Ji Xiang Confectionery, also known by regulars as Everton Park Ang Ku Kueh. Starting from a kitchen in an HDB flat, the business opened at Everton Park in 1988. People still flock here to get their ang ku kuehs which are available in flavours ranging from peanut and sweet bean all the way to cempedak and durian.

The Better Half
This Everton Park cafe is a small business where passion brings together coffee and bakes come together. Step inside for specialty coffee and artisan bakes like Banana Miso, Black Sesame and Earl Grey Lemon. The Better Half as a small seating area which makes it feel very intimate and cosy.

We love the play on words in its name. What may be surprising to know is that this Everton Park cafe started off as a cold pressed juice bar almost 10 years ago before pivoting to become a bakery. It offers pastries baked fresh daily, including croissants of course.

Kekito Bakery specialises in diabetic-friendly sugar free cakes with 100% natural ingredients. According to Kekito Bakery, they remove all the sugar, and and the flour, to bring down added sugars and carbohydrates to zero. This ensures minimal/almost no spike in blood sugar levels. Some of their specialities include the Signature Yuzu Japanese Cheesecake, or 100% Chocolate Fudge Cake for the chocolate cake lovers, or Pandan Ondeh cake. While their main shop is in Tai Seng, they have a self-service outlet at Everton Park.

If you are looking for beautiful cafe with good food and cosy ambiance at Everton Park, Cafe Wabi Sabi maybe the spot you are looking for. Some of the popular items here include the matcha burnt cheese cake. You can also get different rice bowls and sandos for a proper meal too.

Hello Arigato
Hello Arigato first opened up at Joo Chiat but if you live in Central Singapore, the outlet at Everton Park may be more convenient to reach. They are known for their sandos like the tamgo sando and katsu sando but you should also give their cauliflower fritters a try.

LR Boulangerie
You can get freshly baked breads at LR Boulangerie, which has other outlets at Empress Road and Valley Point. These include a variety of sourdough breads along with huge cinnamon rolls. You can also pick up shio pans here. There are two small tables outside so seats are limited and they do not sell coffee at this outlet.

Nylon Coffee is a bean-to-cup coffee house and roastery where you can savour craft brews along with house-roasted single origin beans. It is a popular spot with coffee lovers. There is even a vending machine outside where you can pick up a pack of coffee beans.

This is a neighbourhood Japanese food place where you can order affordable chicken curry omu, salmon mentaiko and other dishes. Good for a quick lunch on a busy day.

Beano
Started in 2004, Beano focuses on artisanal soy products are made fresh daily without preservatives. The shop itself is tucked away at one end of Block 6 and you may end up walking past it without even noticing it.

Coffee Shops
With all these Everton Park cafes and bakeries all around the estate, it is good to know that there are still two regular coffeeshops and eateries there. Block 7, located in between Blocks 1 to 3 and Blocks 4 to 6 at the open air car park has a Kimly coffee shop and another eating house can be found at the end of Block 4, next to Cantonment Road.
Exploring Everton Park
So, if you are looking to explore a new neighbourhood, you can pay a visit to Everton Park for a spot of cafe hopping or a meal.
There are also a couple of other interesting shops too, including Tiny Rabbit Hole, a knitting and crochet shop, and Guitar Haven, a guitar repair shop.
You can also head across the street to visit the sky garden at Pinnacle @ Duxton or book a visit to the NUS Baba House along Neil Road.
