Nestled within the heart of the Faber Hills estate, the Faber Hills Playground is a bit of a misnomer. Much more than just a children’s playground, it is a sizeable park with different spaces for all.
Faber Hills Playground
Let’s start with the Faber Hills Playground itself.
The children’s playground is fitted with a climbing structure with ropes. It is where kids can challenge their motor skills making their way across from on side of the red frame to the other.

There are also two sets of see-saws at Faber Hills Playground (and a third if you count the playground’s rocking ring). The more traditional looking one is red coloured with black seats at the end.
There is another grey play equipment that has rails to accommodate more at a time.
Adjacent to the play area is a sand pit. At the very centre is a mechanical excavator that kids can work to dig away at the sand.
A pair of swings provides a space for kids to enjoy the simple joys of swishing through the air.
Butterfly Garden
There is also a small butterfly garden at Faber Hills Playground.
Butterfly-attracting bushes and shrubs draw in the winged insects that can be found happily fluttering around.
Greenery and Spaces
As mentioned earlier, Faber Hills Playground is much more than just a children’s play space. There is plenty of greenery and space around. Part of the beauty of the park comes from the mature trees and their wide canopies.
At one corner, there is also a sheltered event area with a badminton court beside it.
With its location at the heart of the Faber Hills estate, and not far from the row of shophouses in the estate, it is a nice space for the community to gather, unwind and enjoy some fun in the neighbourhood.
