Opened in the last quarter of 2021, the Family Park at Yishun Avenue 6 is space which serves those living in the neighbourhood with playgrounds, fitness areas and a play court for games.
Yishun Family Park Playground
For families with young children, the main attraction of the Yishun Family Park at Avenue 7 is its playground. It is in fact made up of three playgrounds or play areas which cater to kids of different ages.
For younger kids, there is a purple and yellow boat themed playground. Elevated slightly off the ground, the playground invites kids to climb on board for a fun time.

A climbing net off the side of the playground resembles a fishing net which has been cast off the side of the boat. Next to the main play structure is a red tractor play-pretend structure which kids can climb into and through.
The second play area is an obstacle course playground which is more suited for older kids.
This includes climbing nets and different types of “stepping stones” which kids can use to skip around the playground. It also incorporates a set of monkey bars for those who wish to test out their upper body strength.
The last play area at the Yishun Family Park is another elevated playground. Higher than the first playground, it consists of blue and orange towers which are inter-connected with different types of bridges. These include a netted bridge and also a metal linkway. It offers fun ways for kids to play with a tinge of adventure.
Other Facilities at the Park
In addition to the playgrounds, the Yishun Family Park also caters other members of the family with several exercise areas. A red walking track also encircles the park.
There is even a small community garden in the park too.
There is also a foot reflexology path in the park.
The Yishun Family Park is located between Blocks 278 and 287, Yishun Avenue 6, not far from the hillside Yishun Neighbourhood Park.
