Fernvale Playgrounds: Neighbourhood Fun at Sengkang West
Fernvale Acres
One of our favourite playgrounds in the Fernvale neighbourhood can be found at Fernvale Acres. This playground features a trio of cows that kids can climb up on and into. A climbing platform playground at the rear of the cows provides even more options for kids to play.

Banyan Tree Playground at the Sengkang Park Connector to Fernvale Lane
Amazingly, just beside the Fernvale Acres cow playground, there is another playground where kids can indulge in outdoor time. Inspired by the banyan tree, the two orange play structures at the Sengkang Park Connector invite kids to climb and see the world from a different perspective up on the netted platform.
Fernvale Dew Curled Net
Fernvale Dew is not far from Fernvale Acres. The estate here is home to four different play areas that cater to ages all the way from toddler to 12 years old. On this play structure, one of the climb nets is designed on a curve to provide extra challenge. There are also a set of swings, including a basket swing.
Fernvale Riverbow Playground
Fernvale Riverbow is home to three separate playgrounds. These include a low orange playground and a criss-crossed frame playground just beside the waters of Sungei Punggol. However, our favourite is playground next to Block 416B. There are plenty of climbing opportunities for kids in the form of an array of platforms as well as a netted dome.
Fernvale Grove and Fernvale Court
A short walk away from The Seletar Mall are the playgrounds of Fernvale Grove and Fernvale Court. The largest area is at the open court in front of Block 438A and 438B where a playground structure with multiple slides can be found. There is also sheltered seating nearby, which is great for caregivers to sit while watching the kids play. At Fernvale Court Block 438, there is a plane-themed playground while Fernvale Grove, at Block 436, has another play structure for kids.
Sengkang Common Green: Swing Garden
Sengkang Common Green makes it on to our list because of the sheer number and variety of swings that you can find here. These include the standard garden swings as well as plank swings and two-seater swings. It is nice place to simply slow down and watch the world go by.
