Join them for a quest around the Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise from 2 November 2024 to 5 January 2025 and you could become a Beagle Scout too!
Join the Snoopy Beagle Scouts for Festive Wild-erland 2024 at Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise
This November and December school holidays 2024, you can join Snoopy and the entire gang for an expedition around Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise to earn your own Snoopy Beagle Scout badge!
We recently went on the trail at Singapore Zoo and here’s what we found.

The entrance to Singapore is quite well hidden nowadays because of the amount of construction work that is going on. After walking past the hoardings, we were glad to finally be welcomed by an archway that proudly proclaimed – Snoopy Beagle Scouts at Festive Wild-erland!
It was as if we had arrived at a jamboree and we had Snoopy with a campfire on one side of the arch and Charlie Brown on the other, waving a warm welcome to us!
This is a great spot for a photo opp too!
Reporting to the Start Point at the Treetops Trail
After passing the turnstiles, we ventured further in and arrived at the main signboard and counter for the start of the expedition.
Kids between 3 and 12 years old can pick up a booklet that contains the checkpoints they must navigate to. If you need a pencil, you can get one from the manned counter as well. The kids have it easy because they only have four checkpoints to cover.
Adults and teens can play along too! On the signboard, there is a QR code that you can scan to access the digital quest.
This digital quest requires you to download the Mandai app. Once downloaded, you will have to select the park you are playing at. In our case, it was Singapore Zoo.
For the digital missions, there are a total of 10 stops. These stops are scattered all around the Singapore Zoo and will take you to iconic spots around the zoo.
So be like a Beagle Scout, follow Snoopy’s lead and complete the trails. Once you have completed the trail, you can redeem unique Beagle Scout badges as keepsakes.
The various stations will challenge your observation and memory skills.
For example, kids can use their mission booklets to learn about wildlife and the camaraderie of scouting with the beloved PEANUTS gang. One of the tasks was to head over to the orangutan habitat at Singapore Zoo and try to figure out what items provided by the animal care team are used to keep the primates comfortable and active.
Kids will then need to circle the correct answer in the trail booklet.
It is quite a fun quest that they can embark upon while also visiting the animals at the zoo.
After completing the trail, redeem the exclusive Mandai Wildlife Reserve x Snoopy badges. The badges are available on a first-come-first-served basis and while stocks last.
Take note that the physical trail books are available between 2 November 2024 and 5 January 2025 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Treetops Trail at Singapore Zoo and at the entrance of Bird Paradise. Badge redemption closes at 5.30 pm.
The Beagle Scouts Physical Mission is fun idea for kids between the ages of 3 and 12 and allows them to spend time outdoors.
Base Camp at Pavilion by the Lake
There are several photo spots throughout Singapore Zoo but the best photo spots, especially for Snoopy and PEANUTS lovers, can be found at Pavilion by the Lake.
You will find the PEANUTS gang assembled in front of Snoopy’s doghouse for the perfect photo opportunity.
Or join Snoopy and Woodstock around the camp fire and toast some marshmallows. There is a super-sized, inflatable Snoopy that you can snap pictures with too.
Pavilion by the Lake is also the venue for some of the additional activities for Festive Wild-erland.
You can make your own PEANUTS comic strip with a light box and tracing paper.
Or take part in mini games by Japanese lifestyle and apparel company CHUMS.
Here’s an overview of the various activities at Singapore Zoo for Festive Wild-erland 2024:
- Make Your Own PEANUTS Comic Strip, 2 Nov 2024 to 5 Jan 2025, 9 am to 6 pm, daily at Pavilion by the Lake.
- Take part in mini games by CHUMS Singapore and Singapore Red Cross and earn a reward upon completion from 9 am to 6 pm at Pavilion by the Lake.
- Capture the joy of the festive season with a unique live caricature. Get a caricature of you and your loved ones drawn within minutes. Additional charges apply. From 2 Nov 2024 to 5 Jan 2025, except Wednesdays, 10 am to 4 pm at KidzWorld.
- Learn Survival Skills with Singapore Red Cross by racing with your friends at the CPR Sprint game or learning bandage techniques from Red Cross Youth volunteers! This takes place on weekends from 2 November 2024 to 5 January 2025 from 10 am to 4 pm at Pavilion by the Lake.
Festive Wild-erland at Bird Paradise
Bird Paradise has a similar set of activities and missions.
For example, on the quest at Bird Paradise, Beagle Scouts will need to look out for Woodstock’s lookalike, and discover its impressive skills in weaving intricate hanging nests.
PEANUTS Characters Meet and Greet
In addition, if you are a massive PEANUTS fan, you won’t want to miss out on getting to meet Charlie Brown, Lucy and Snoopy at character meet-and-greet sessions that will be held at Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise.

Festive Wild-erland Activities at Bird Paradise
- Take part in a hands-on activity where you will get to craft festive enrichments for the park’s feathered friends! You might even get a chance to see the macaws interacting with your handmade creations during the Macaw Keeper Talk at Hong Leong Foundation Crimson Wetlands at 12 pm. There is a maximum of 15 pax per session and on a first-come-first-served basis. This activity takes place from 24 to 29 Dec 2024, 11 am to 11.30 am at the Learning & Discovery Centre.
- Watch Your Art Come Alive with Faber-Castell. Unleash your creativity with Faber-Castell’s exciting ARt Alive activity! Simply fill in colours on the paper template and watch it come to life as it is projected on the screen at the Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove on 1 to 3, 8 to 10, 15 to 17, 22 to 24 Nov 2024, 10 am to 6 pm.
Festive Wild-erland Activities at Mandai Wildlife West
- A Wild-erful Christmas Market celebrates the festive cheer with a variety of activities for the entire family – furry pups included! Discover unique gifts at festive stalls, join holiday-themed workshops and immerse in jolly moments. Event Highlights include a Christmas Gifting Market, Best Dressed Dog Competition, Festive-themed Workshops and Activities and Live Performances. The Wild-erful Christmas Market takes place on 20 to 22 December 2024, 11 am to 7 pm.
Snoopy Photo Points
While out at the parks, don’t forget to snap photos at the striking Snoopy photo points. One of the cutest Snoopy photo spots is a larger-than-life Snoopy doghouse at Mandai Wildlife West.
