Tucked away at the edge of Seletar Airfield is a Hangar66 Café, a dining spot located within an aircraft hanger.
Hangar66 Café opened in the second half of 2020 and is a short walk away from Hampstead Wetlands Park. It can be found within the WingsOverAsia compound and is open to the public.
For Aviation Enthusiasts
The café’s aviation-themed decor features runway markings that lead the way in.
What immediately catches the eye upon walking in is an autogyro – part airplane, part helicopter – which sits at one end of the dining area.
There are tables which look like cut up sections of wings. You can clearly see the aerofoil cross-sectional profile from the side.
The main dining area has a set of windows which provide a view of the working hanger area where planes are kept.
