Travelers to Singapore will soon have another option if they are thinking of staying at Changi Airport when visiting the city-state. A new hotel, Hotel Indigo Changi Airport, is expected to be completed and fully operational by 2028.
The new Hotel Indigo Changi Airport was announced by Changi Airport Group and SGX Mainboard-listed OUE Limited following the award of a tender by Changi Airport Group for the lease and development of a new hotel to be located at Changi Airport Terminal 2.
Hotel Indigo Changi Airport: First Zero-Energy Hotel in Singapore
The 255-room, 163-metre-long Hotel Indigo Changi Airport will feature innovative design elements and modern facilities, including a rooftop day club, bar and infinity pool offering panoramic views of the runway, airport boulevard and skyline.
The hotel’s design will be centred around the concept of a “Floating Forest”. Layers of lush rainforest and hanging epiphytes will adorn its seven storeys.

The new hotel will be in the public area and complement the existing hotels on Changi Airport’s landside including YOTELAIR at Jewel Changi Airport and Crowne Plaza Changi Airport located at Terminal 3, which is also owned and leased by OUE Group.
Hotel Indigo Changi Airport aims to achieve operational energy neutrality by incorporating sustainability features. These features include solar photovoltaic panels, hybrid cooling systems, naturally ventilated corridors and rainwater-harvesting technology aimed at reducing environmental impact while enhancing overall guest comfort and well-being.
Elevating the Hospitality Offerings at Changi Airport
