If you feel inspired after viewing the orangutans swinging high up in the trees in Mandai, you can try out your own skills at Houbii Spot Singapore within Singapore Zoo. The rope course has been expanded with obstacle to challenge daring adventurers. 


Swing Out at the Houbii Spot Singapore Rope Course

The Houbii Spot Singapore rope course at Singapore Zoo features two separate courses. 

The Real Thing course is designed for adventurers above 120 cm.

Younger ones that do not meet the 120 cm height requirement and 5 years and below have a specially designed Mini Course instead. 


The Real Thing Rope Course

The Real Thing is a 74-obstacle rope course. Amongst the many obstacles that climbers will have to make their way through include a towering tyres, swinging hula hoops, suspended boat obstacles for a thrilling traverse, classic wooden planks and ropes to test the climber’s balance and agility.

And the latest obstacle that has been incorporated into The Real Thing is the “Tarzan” obstacle. This unique feature allows participants to experience a self-propelled glide, navigating across platforms using their own momentum. 

Just remember to let out a Tarzan scream to complete the experience.

Climbers can also get a great view of the waters of the Upper Seletar Reservoir while they are up on the Singapore Zoo rope course.

The price for climbers above 120 cm on The Real Thing is $25. Accompanying adults have to pay $13.


Mini Course: For Little Adventurers

Mini Course: For Little Adventurers

For adventurers below 120 cm (5 years and below),Houbii Spot has a specially designed Mini Course featuring 14 obstacles.

The Mini Course is created for family bonding. Parents can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their little one as they go through the low rope course.

The price for climbers (recommended for age 3 and above, below 120cm) is $20. 

Houbii Spot memberships are also available.

Houbii Spot is open from 10 am daily, with the last entry at 5.15 pm. Visitors may walk in to purchase their tickets, with no advance reservations required. Take note that the Houbii Spot Singapore fees are in addition to Singapore Zoo admission charges.
