Pet-Friendly Sundays at illumi Singapore
illumi will be holding Pet-Friendly Sundays on the second Sunday of every month. You and your pet can enjoy an evening stroll under the stars at the light spectacular at the Bay Event Space.
The dates for illumi’s Pet-Friendly Sundays are:
- 13 October;
- 10 November;
- 8 December; and
- 12 January 2025
Do take note about the following guidelines for Pet-Friendly Sundays at illumi if you are planning on heading down.
Firstly, all pets must be on a secure leash at all times. Retractable leashes are discouraged as they can pose safety risks in crowded areas. You can bring your pets in trolleys, bags or enclosures as well. Large dogs must wear a muzzle for the safety of other attendees.
Owners must supervise their pets at all times and should not leave pets unattended. To avoid overcrowding, each owner or ticket holder is limited to one pet per adult (18 and above).
All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and free of contagious diseases or parasites. There are also certain areas that are pet-free, such as the food service areas and attractions and rides.
Nonetheless, if you wish take your pets to view the lights and take some pictures together with the spectacular display areas such as Puppies and Kitties, you may do so on the dates that have been set aside for them. Learn more about Pet-Friendly Sundays at illumi in Singapore.
illumi Singapore: Light Spectacular at Bayfront
The illumi light and sounds features 20 million LED lights with larger-than-life structures and innovative light installations. It first made its debut in Montreal, Canada in October 2019 and is now making its international debut in Singapore.
illumi has has been praised for its artistic creativity and immersive experience, transforming ordinary spaces into magical landscapes. It is now Singapore’s turn to experience the world’s tallest Tree of Lights and nine unique worlds featuring lifelike animatronic creatures against the city’s skyline.
The night time event is divided into nine themed worlds that will charm visitors.
The Magical Forest
Be dazzled by multicoloured trees and majestic wildlife at The Magical Forest. The mysterious underbrush is filled with colourful toadstools and green foliage. You can do a walking safari among the magical wild animals. Stretch your neck to admire unicorns and winged animals hiding in the forest.
The Infinite Poles
Next, step into an icy world where penguins and igloos coexist in an endless sparkling forest of stalagmites. There is even a whale in the midst of the stalagmites at The Infinite Poles.
The Dune Palace
This area of illumi evokes the Sahara with genies and magic floating carpets.
Also within The Dune Palace area, you will find a Flying Chairs ride ($7 per ride).
The Tunnel of Colours
LEDs line every inch of the bright and colourful tunnel where anything is possible. This kaleidoscopic corridor is sure to impress. As you move through it, the light tricks that form this tunnel transform reality into a colourful adventure.
The illumi Tree of Light
The illumi Tree of Light stands 47 metres tall – the size of five Merlions stacked atop one another. 50,000 luminous, interactive spheres light up the illumi tree – for a total of 190,000 LEDs!
Beside the tree, you will find a ball pit where kids can get lost in a sea of inflatable balls.
The Jurassic Kingdom
Dozens of dinosaurs roar in the night to protect their vast sacred territory. Step into the world where dinosaurs rule.
This landscape immerses visitors in a scene worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster.
The Enchanted Maples
Discover the greatest traditions of Canada through the red and orange maple leaves that literally illuminate the sky and dance to the folk music of yesteryear. Illuminated sheep graze beneath the red and yellow leaves of the tree.
You will also find a carousel here ($7 per ride).
Walls of Lights
Step into a winter wonderland with shimmering snowflakes and curtains of twinkling lights. Giant shimmering crystals, garlands that drape to the ground and stalagmites form a world of ice.
Puppies and Kitties
Find peace and harmony among adorable animals at Puppies and Kitties. Be surrounded by so many cats and dogs, in this world where only peace and friendship reign supreme. Some giant cats and dogs stand on guard while hundreds of adorable creatures from dozens of different breeds enjoy themselves freely and in harmony in the illuminated park.
illumi: Take A Light & Sound Journey into the Magical
illumi was created by the team behind the acclaimed production Cavalia, which mesmerised Singapore audiences with its majestic horses, acrobats and special effects at the Bayfront Event Ground under the White Big Top in 2014. It is presented by live entertainment company Base Entertainment Asia.
