Back by popular demand, join the Jazz Association Singapore Orchestra (JASSO) Ethno-Jazz Ensemble as they bring you the second instalment of “Kaleidoscope – An Asian Odyssey 2023 (The Reprise)”.
Featuring Jazz Association (Singapore) (JASS)’ Executive Director and Music Director, Jeremy Monteiro and Associate Music Director, Chok Kerong, the ensemble will be joined by musicians from Drum Feng as well as vocalists Khor Ai Ming and Rudy Djoe, and dancers from the Bhaskar’s Art Academy.
Well-known musicians Indra Chen, Likie Low, Mohamed Noor and Riduan Zalani also make up this eclectic ensemble.
Experience the enchanting melodies and timeless compositions by Jeremy Monteiro as he presents the ever evocative “Asiana” and an inspiring re-interpretation of his masterpiece “Shakti Dance”. Delight in Chok Kerong’s evocative creation,“Asian Odyssey” a musical tapestry that transcends borders and embraces the diverse flavors of Asia. The ensemble will also bring you music such as the majestic “Lion’s Roar”, “Little India” and “Pulau Ujong” that are uniquely Singapore and reflects our diversity and multiculturalism.
