This Sunday, 13 April 2025, pay a visit to the Istana Open House from 8.30 am to 6 pm. Exploring the grounds of the Istana and relax as you take a stroll under the trees in the gardens. You can also embark on a guided tour of the Istana grounds to explore its rich history, architectural heritage, and unique flora and fauna. The one-hour walking tour begins at the Main Gate and features highlights such as the Villa, Japanese Garden, and Ceremonial Plaza. Tours are conducted in English and Mandarin every hour from 9am to 4pm. Fees apply.

Ms Nat Gets Messy! is a unique and immersive event by Ms Nat Learning Exploration, tailored to benefit children aged 2 to 4 years old, accompanied by adults. This engaging experience takes place on Saturday, 12 April, 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm at Jurong Regional Library and is centered around the theme of understanding and managing big feelings.
Through interactive storytelling, music & movement, messy arts & crafts, and sensory activities, the event creates a safe and enjoyable space for both children and adults to explore, express, and understand emotions together. Police Pals @ Libraries
On Saturday, 12 April, 3 pm to 3.30 pm, join Singapore Police Force for a session of storytelling at Bedok Public Library, Programme Room, Level 3. Follow the officers and Police Pal Ray on their adventures to help people in need. Through their adventures, young readers can understand the roles of a Police officer, good values and how they can protect themselves. This session is suitable for children aged 4 and above and must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. No registration is required, simply walk in to join us for the storytelling session. Batik Nyonyas Weekend Festival
Batik Nyonyas Weekend Festival, organised in conjunction with the ongoing special exhibition, Batik Nyonyas: Three Generations of Art and Entrepreneurship will be taking place this weekend from 12 to 13 April. Be swept away by exciting performances, captivating storytelling sessions and drop-in experiences that celebrate the timeless artistry of batik. Colourful kueh come to life at the interactive artwork “In-Kueh-Dible” inflatables by Bunch of Monkeys. Meet and play with inflatable characters in the shape of Peranakan kueh, right outside the doors of the Peranakan Museum.
Visitors can enjoy most programmes for free, with discounted admission to the special exhibition during the festival. Alternatively, the first 50 visitors per day who come dressed in sarong kebayas or batik outfits will get free admission to the exhibition during programme hours. Easter Eggs-travaganza
Easter Eggs-travaganza at Bird Paradise is back with 100 larger-than-life egg installations scattered throughout the park. Each egg has been designed to represent the different continents and countries where various bird species are found. There is also a digital easter egg hunt that you can go on to explore the park.
