Jiang’s Noodle House, also known as La Jiang Shan Jiang Shi Fu Noodle House, is a small noodle shop located at Parklane Shopping Mall along Selegie Road.
Those who enjoy hand cut or spicy style noodles will be pleased to find servings of hearty noodles at the shop which faces out towards Selegie Road.
We paid it a visit to sample what was available.

Ordering is straightforward. Place your order at the front counter, pay and wait for them to call your number.
We ordered the Sour & Spicy Premium Beef Noodles. This came in a rich yellow broth with a generous serving of thin slices of beef.
There is the option to choose either ramen style noodles or hand cut noodles. We opted for the hand cut noodles for this bowl.
The soup was rich in flavour. It had the spicy and tangy taste of preserved vegetables combined with the heat of the spices that lingers in the mouth. If you enjoy this type of flavours, you will enjoy this bowl of noodles.
Another dish that we tried was the Golden Soup Chicken with Wanton Claypot. This hearty soup came with half a chicken and four wantons. The soup was deliciously rich and the chicken was so tender that it fell off the bones.
The wantons were surprisingly satisfying too.
You can choose to order rice to eat with the Golden Soup Chicken with Wanton Claypot. Or for an alternative staple, try the Scallion Oil Noodles.
The Scallion Oil Noodles is a bowl of garlicky goodness along with strips of scallions. This dry noodles make a nice accompaniment to the Golden Soup Chicken with Wanton Claypot.
To flavour the dishes to your own taste, you can add on garlic as well. There are also chick peas that that we ate as a snack ala kachang puteh.
One other dish that we tried was the Chopped Braised Pork in Grilled Bun. Unfortunately, we found it rather chewy compared to others we had tried before.
There are plenty of other noodle dishes available at Jiang Noodle House, such as SiChuan Dan Dan Noodles, In-house Beef Three Treasures Noodles, Secret Recipe Beef Sirloin Noodles and Braised Pork Intestine Noodles, and you can come back a dozen times and try something new each time.
