The Kallang Breeze playground is a chance for kids to go vertical as they scale up the tall, green playground in the estate. The playground also features equipment such as swings and a smaller toddler play area.
Kallang Breeze Playground: Treehouse in the Air
Kallang Breeze is located at the junction of Sims Avenue and Sim Way, leading to the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway. Nestled within the tall blocks of the estate is the Kallang Breeze Playground, a neighbourhood playground that caters to those living in the surrounding apartments.

The highlight of the Kallang Breeze playground is the tall, towering play tower. Perched right at the top of the play tower is a hut, located just beneath the green “leaves” that shoot out from the supporting poles.
The treehouse looks very inviting and kids who make the climb up to the treehouse are rewarded with a nice view from the top.
To get to the Kallang Breeze Playground treehouse, kids will have to navigate their way up the series of rope ladders and rope platforms found within the tower’s structure.
There are several ways to enter into the tower. One way by going straight up from underneath the tower. An alternative, and a more fun one in our opinion, is to the take the rope bridge that is strung out to one side. Step out onto the thick rope while grasping on to the handholds on either side to reach the tall play tower.
With a bit of effort, kids will soon be at the top of the play tower. In addition to the view, the other incentive for climbing up to the top is to take the grey slide to get back down. It is a fun way for kids to play.
Next to the Kallang Breeze playground’s tree house, there is a swing. While it is only a single swing, it is a good vantage point to also enjoy the breeze while swaying through the air.
Younger children who may not be quite so ready to climb up the Kallang Breeze treehouse can still have some fun at the toddler playground in front of Block 21.
Rooftop Garden
Here’s a hidden extra that you may be interested to know about. If you head over to the multi-storey car park at Block 20, you can take a lift all the way up to the rooftop garden.
A small play area for young children can be found at this rooftop garden.
Another feature of the rooftop garden is a sensory garden.
