Kiztopia Marina Square is a huge indoor playground in Singapore. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a riot of colours and whimsical designs that make you feel like you’ve just entered a cartoon universe. It is no wonder that the indoor playground is a popular spot for families with young children, providing fun play for kids.
The Kiztopia brand offers a blend of fun, education, and just the right amount of chaos. Whether your child is into shopping, cooking, dressing up, scaling heights or mastering ninja moves, you’ll enjoy a little bit of parental euphoria at the various Kidztopia outlets all around Singapore.
Kiztopia Marina Square: Massive Indoor Playground for Kids of All Ages
Kiztopia Marina Square was amongst the first, if not the first, of the Kiztopia locations in Singapore. It is located on the first floor of the mall and faces out towards Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.

It is also the flagship outlet of Kiztopia and has a space theme. So, if you are looking for a fun indoor playground to take the kids whatever the weather is like outside, this is probably a good bet.
At Kiztopia Marina Square, kids can unleash their inner adventurers. There are a whopping 18 play zones at the 18,000 square feet indoor playground.
The layout at Kiztopia Marina Square is spacious enough to avoid the dreaded “kid traffic jam,” allowing little ones to zoom around like they’ve just consumed three chocolate bars.
Parents can also sip coffee and snacks from Kith cafe and pretend to be in control of their lives. There are plenty of seating spots for tired parents. We particularly liked how the choice of music was nursery-rhyme-soothing and calm.
Play Zones for Toddlers and Younger Children at Kiztopia Marina Square
There’s a fantastic variety of play zones that cater to every age group. Small preschooolers and toddlers have spaces at the massive indoor playground while older kids will also be able to find their fun as they run around and explore the different play spaces.
We loved that there were dedicated zones for smaller children.
These included a baby supermarket with soft, fluffy “food” and there were even two trolleys for them to pretend to shop. Toddlers can pretend to be just like mummy and daddy and get behind a trolley and go shopping for pretend-play produce like fruit and vegetables.
There is also a little kitchen called “Bell’s Cuisine” that is suitable for smaller children to play “masak-masak”. A giant statue of Bell the Bear stands outside to welcome kids. It is all plenty of fun and a great way for them to exercise their imagination.
Are the kids excited to helped out in the kitchen at home? Here, the tables are reversed and parents can help their little ones in meal preparation and be the adult sous-chef as kids excitedly go about assembling their magnificent culinary cuisine around a play kitchen.
For much smaller children, Kiztopia Marina Square has a little pit. Instead of being filled with sand like a traditional sand pit, this play area has brown beads instead. Kids can dig and pour as if they are in a traditional sand pit. It is also located next to the glass window so plenty of light can pour in on sunny days, bringing a bright ambiance to the play pit.
It is a great way for them to practise their motor skills as they scoop and play! I also chuckled when I saw how they had labelled the baby pit “Raby‘s pit”. I must also admit that sifting the beads through my fingers felt very therapeutic. If you are there, you must give it a go as well.
Chug Eli and Tiger’s Arena
Young kids will also enjoy the chance to ride on the kiddy train at the Chug Eli zone. They can sit in the red carriages of the train while they get transported round the tracks. They will have fun as they imagine that they are going all around the world as they chug their way past statues of world landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty – all this under the watchful eye of Eli the Elephant.
Or how about making your way over to Tiger’s Arena where kids can get onboard ride one cars or tricycles and ride around a track. It is a chance for them to also gain an understanding of basic traffic rules.
Bouncy Fun, Ball Pits and More: Cosmic Space and Mojo Zone
My older children headed straight for the bouncy areas, ball pits, slides galore and trampolines at Kiztopia Marina Square. There are plenty of climbing opportunities for kids to challenge their abilities as they scale colourful obstacles within the indoor playground.
One of the highlights for older kids is the Mojo Zone. Here, there is a climbing frame that has been set in a ball pool filled with blue, white and yellow balls. There is even a bright orange “banana boat” that kids can climb on and imagine that they are surfing away on the sea of balls.
Kids will have plenty of fun as they scramble up and down the padded climbing frame. They even zip down a four-lane slides that leads into the fun ball pit below. They can race down the orange slides with each other. As always, the play is even more fun for kids when exploring it together with a friend.
Another feature at the ball pit zone is an interactive wall where they can encounter an alien world.
As if that is not enough, you will find bouncy castles set up within Kiztopia Marina Square as well. The Kiztopia brand also operates Bounctopia outlets around Singapore. Therefore, it is not surprising to find the giant inflatables at its flagship outlet too.
For aspiring little ninjas, there is a ninja obstacle course as well!
Or how about jumping up and down at the interactive trampoline zone known as Alley Oop Mark. Kids can try to throw balls into holes on the wall to score points.
Just remember to breathe; I was tempted to join in, but had to quickly be honest with myself and admit that I was not in peak condition. Perhaps parents need to work out in order to keep up with the kids at indoor playgrounds!
Mark’s Block
Another fun zone, and one that parents can be probably join in without having to break too much of a sweat is Mark’s Block. This is a creative play area where kids and parents can play using soft blocks.
These blocks can be used to create anything they want. Want to make a play fort? Sure. Want to create a make-believe vehicle? Sure! All it takes is for some imagination and kids are never lacking in that!
It is a mini construction zone for young builders to have fun.
Learning is Part of the Fun
Kiztopia brilliantly sneaks in learning disguised as fun, like a stealthy ninja.
Kids can engage in fun activities that also help to develop problem-solving skills. You can also find signboards outside various zones. These signboards even provide learning objectives. This made me feel that I could just sit back and wonder if I really needed to be an adult during the visit.
Birthday Parties at Kiztopia Marina Square
Kiztopia Marina Square is also a popular spot for birthday parties.
If you’re looking for a way to throw a memorable bash without the mess of your living room turning into a cake war zone, this is the place. If you make a booking at Kiztopia handle decorations, food, and the inevitable chaos.
Birthday packages at Kiztopia Marina Square start from $699++.
Other Useful Things to Know
Safety is clearly a priority at Kiztopia Marina Square. There are soft surfaces and padded corners that will make even the most cautious parent feel at ease.
Since families with young children are clearly the demographic that Kiztopia is targeting, there has been plenty of thought given to small details to make it convenient and easy for families that are visiting the indoor playground. For example, there are two stroller parking areas that were pretty spacious and kept neat. This made it more welcoming for those visiting the indoor playground.
On the way out, you can even stop by a little gift shop underneath the escalator to pick up a souvenir from your visit. There are cute plush toys based on Kiztopia characters along with t-shirts and even balloons.
It is also useful to know that there is a water cooler and toilet just outside the indoor playground.
