And what could be more fun than zipping around a beautiful park, solving clues and completing exciting tasks – together as a family? Join us on our Little Day Outing to Bishan-AMK Park (Pond Gardens side) for an amazing race from the first pit stop to the final destination!
From Kungfu To Calligraphy And Puzzle-solving
Just how amazing is this race? It not only gets the whole family out for good ol’ outdoor fun, it also introduces children (and adults alike!) to the Chinese language and culture in the best way possible – through play!
Some of the pit stop tasks include learning kungfu moves from a martial arts master, completing a Chinese calligraphy team challenge and solving puzzles “in the dark”. These activities are designed for family participation, so even young kids will be up to it while adults will have a blast too!
Turning these fun moments into learning opportunities are the able teachers from Zhou’s Academic Studio, a Chinese language centre that has seen almost 90% of its students obtain distinctions in PSLE Chinese for 6 years running. The centre has grown since its inception in 2011 and enjoys increasing popularity among parents mostly by word of mouth.

Bilingual Fun
If you’re worried about your command of the Chinese language, relax! This Amazing Race outing will be conducted in both English and Mandarin. Some tasks will require you to speak in Mandarin and recognise some Chinese words, but the friendly teachers from Zhou will be at every pit stop to guide you along.
