The MacPherson Blossom playground consists of two separate play areas, one with an elevated play structure suitable for older children and another with younger adventurers in mind.
Let’s take a look at what you can expect to find at the MacPherson Blossom Playground.
Cocoon Skywalk at the MacPherson Blossom Playground
The first playground at MacPherson Blossom is an elevated playground that can be found surrounded by Blocks 75, 75A, 75B. Within this little courtyard, the brightly coloured play structure invites kids to come and play.

The play structure is known as a Cocoon Skywalk and is installed by playground specialist Playpoint. This is a reference to the cocoon shapes of the pods that are designed to provide a sense of coziness and security for kids.
To reach these pods, there are a number of entryways.
One way is to climb up the cargo net that leads up directly to the pod. Another way is to ascend a short ladder. A third way is to use a set of ropes to get up into the play structure.
The Cocoon Skywalk is not elevated very far off the ground. The pods are interconnected to each other by a series of netted tunnels. These tunnels have rope nets inside that kids can step on as they make their way from pod to pod.
A grey slide is connected to the highest pod. Kids can take the slide to get back to the ground level.
Other features at this MacPherson Blossom playground include a set spinners.
There are also two trampolines built into the ground – one at either end of the play area. With yellow concentric rings, they looks bright and cheery, so much so that even adults will be tempted to bounce on them.
MacPherson Blossom Playground for Younger Children
There is a second MacPherson Blossom Playground. This one is located in front of Block 76A.
This playground consists of a series of mounds with bright yellow play equipment scattered throughout for kids to enjoy.
They can choose to slide down bright yellow slides, including a broader one that opens up at the base.
There are also hanging pods and low hammock swings for them to sway back and forth on.
Another feature found at this playground is a bright red bell that kids will surely want to ring out loud.
Play in the Neighbourhood
Together, these play areas cater to the kids who live in the neighbourhood, offering opportunities to get outdoors and play – preferably either in the early morning or in the later afternoon and evening.
