Sometimes parents just need a place to take a break, sit down for drink and have a place for the kids to entertain themselves. Those who are at Canberra Plaza can make a stop at McDonald’s Canberra Plaza Play Place to do just that.
McDonald’s Canberra Plaza Play Place
The McDonald’s outlet at Canberra Plaza has an indoor play frame, a place where kids can spend some time distracting themselves at the two-storey, colourful play structure.

Even though the play structure at McDonald’s Canberra Plaza Play Place isn’t very large, it is good enough for kids to scurry about like hamsters inside its various cubes which are interconnected by tube tunnels. Little clear plastic windows provide opportunities for kids to pop their heads out and look at the world around them.
Besides the indoor play structure, other family-friendly facilities at McDonald’s Canberra Plaza include a diaper changing room with hot and cold water facilities.
There is also a party room. Who doesn’t have fond memories of attending a McDonald’s birthday party when they were young?
We are happy to see the McDonald’s Play Place open as we remember when it was during the pandemic and it looked as if the facility would not be used for a long time.
If you do stop by Canberra Plaza and are looking for a place for a break, you can choose to pop in and let the kids be kids for a while.
