McDonald’s Singapore now has new Black Pepper Cheese Filet-O-Fish, available from 31 August 2023, for a limited time only.
This is a new twist on the classic Filet-O-Fish which features a patty made from 100% wild Alaskan Pollock, topped with crunchy lettuce.
The Black Pepper Cheese Filet-O-Fish adds on a cheesy black pepper sauce on the burger.
The burger is available in both single and double patties versions.

Curious, we decided to give the Black Pepper Cheese Sauce Filet-O-Fish a try.
Yes, it is just a standard Filet-O-Fish with the add on of the new sauce. What we felt was that the sauced did add a new flavour profile to the fish burger. The black pepper almost made us think the burger had a slight char to it – in a nice way.
However, in the Black Pepper Cheese Sauce Filet-O-Fish that we had, we felt there was not enough of the sauce to give it enough of distinct taste. The sauce was put on rather sparingly and just gave a hit of what else it could be.
