What to Expect at Monstrous Fun!
There’s something for everyone in the family and highlights include:
- 3D Rendering Workshop with Singaporean sculptor and Cultural Medallion recipient, Chong Fah Cheong: Turn your ideas into reality at this hands-on sculpting workshop where you can make your own creation with materials of your choice. Suitable for ages 15 and above.
- The Arts House Story Tour: Learn the history behind Singapore’s oldest government building. Discover interesting facts about the building, its people and what went on in The Chamber that shaped Singapore into what it is today.

Families can stop by The Arts House at anytime from 10 am to 5 pm to enjoy these FREE activities:
- Create Your Own Monster – Transform everyday materials into your very own monster sculpture.
- Giant Poetry Wall – Get creative and craft your own poem by hand pairing words to form rhymes. Remember to snap a picture with your poem and tag #theartshouse.
- Monster Poetry Family Portrait Frame – Create and decorate your very own family portrait frame in this activity inspired by the book Our Folktales: The All-Time Favourite Folktales of Asia.
- Book Exploration: Pop-up Bookstore – Pop into the enchanting world of books handpicked by passionate booksellers from Chio Books and City Book Room. Uncover a treasure trove of titles for the young and the young-at-heart across various genres and languages. There’s something to ignite the imagination of every curious mind.
