Nekoland at Polliwogs Clarke Quay Central is Singapore’s first indoor space that blends an indoor playground and a space to interact with cageless cats while raising awareness and empathy towards cats. Visitors get to also learn more about responsible cat care and even adoption.
We were excited when we first arrive because of the beautiful artwork Nekoland’s mascots all over the space.

We were reminded of some house rules and cat etiquette to take note of like not pulling on their tails or disturbing them in their sleep. There were also other house rules to adhere to in order to have a pleasant visit.
Hanis (our staff on duty) brought us into the cat interaction zone and introduced us to all 10 cats and told us some of the stories of how some were adopted after being abandoned and abused. We learnt that there were 3 new ones that joined the zone on our visit and we were really lucky to meet them. One of our favourite cat had to be Flora because she was such a cute munchkin cat.
We loved that the space was soothing, and inviting for us to take time to relax and bond with the resident and foster cats. In fact, since it was early afternoon during our visit, we had the whole space and time for interaction with the cats to ourselves. Anneli was stoked that the cats kept coming close to us and we got to pet them.
In addition, we loved that the many informative displays around the zone for us to learn more about responsible cat care. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful. For younger ones, there are books all about cats that parents can read to their children to learn more about the curious creatures.
We talked so much with Hanis about the cats and how to care for them that we almost forgot our 30 minutes were up.
A reminder for visitors that tickets to the Cat Interaction Zone last for a duration of 30 minutes. Tickets should be purchased before entering. Also children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a supervising adult, who also requires a ticket for entry.
Polliwogs Kids Indoor Playground at Clarke Quay Central
This vibrant indoor interactive playground is designed to educate families and kids about cat care, rescue, and adoption. Anneli loved exploring the different play structures!
There were netted bouncy balls, obstacle courses and ball blasters to play with.
We felt this playground is well suited for kids in lower primary and preschool. However my little primary 6 daughter loved it so much still!
You can also enjoy themed parties and events, and participate in creative workshops at Nekoland.
Nekoland Cat Café
There is a cafe just in between the playground and cat interaction zone where you can choose from a variety of finger food, drinks and snacks while waiting for little ones to explore.
There is also a mini mart that sells snacks and event party needs like birthday balloons!
Our Review of Nekoland and Polliwogs at Clarke Quay Central
We really enjoyed our visit to Nekoland and it made Anneli’s heart so full just to sit and be with the beautiful cats. We will definitely be back when we come by Clarke Quay Central to see how the cats are doing and for some indoor play time especially on rainy days. We highly recommend families to pay a visit to Nekoland as it will definitely help little ones grow in their love and empathy for cats.
