New Year’s Eve Events and Activities To Usher in 2025
Countdown to 2025 at 22 celebration sites across the island this year. ONE Countdown 2025 will have celebrations at Marina Bay, Kallang Waterfront, Sentosa, Orchard, Clarke Quay and 17 heartland sites!
Migrant workers can also enjoy the countdown celebrations at Migrant Worker Recreation Centres (RCs) and Dormitories.

A New Year’s Eve countdown just for kids? Yes, you heard that right. Celebrate the arrival of 2025 at Somerset Belt with exciting programmes and enjoy the family-friendly Made By Magic: Somerset Kids Countdown Fest, where immersive zones with workshops, music, and magic experiences bring beloved stories to life at Somerset Youth Park.
TRIFECTA FUNHOUSE: New Year’s Countdown Party
For those seeking adrenaline, TRIFECTA will host a showstopping carnival-themed event. Tickets will gain you entry to a night of free carnival treats redeemable with dining coupons, entertainment and games.

Marina Bay Singapore Countdown: Fireworks at the Bay
This year, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown will be part of the ONE Countdown series of celebratory events islandwide organised to commemorate Singapore’s 60th birthday (SG60).
Head to illumi with your picnic basket to get the best views of the fireworks this year. Be surrounded by millions of LED lights, immersive displays and larger-than-life installations like the brontosaurus or the towering Christmas tree. Then watch the live countdown on a giant screen, look up to catch the spectacular fireworks.

In addition, look forward to more exciting activities that will set the Bay abuzz in the weeks leading up to New Year’s Eve. These include performances by homegrown talents at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay and a new series of Brightening Lives light projections on The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, featuring artworks by artists with disabilities.
Then as the clock strikes midnight, look out for the spectacular 30-minute fireworks display, designed by the team behind STAR ISLAND, that will illuminate and dazzle the night sky from the Bay.
Let’s Celebrate 2025
This year, Mediacorp’s countdown party has a new location at Singapore Sports Hub. Let’s celebrate 2025 features a dynamic mix of live music by homegrown talents and fun-filled activities. There will be a spectacular 15-minute fireworks display at midnight.
Catch live performances by the best of Singapore talents like Tik Tok sensation Regina Song, Taufik Batisah, Tasha Low, Shigga Shay, Iman Fandi and many more! Early birds catch the best seats. If you are not able get a spot near the concert grounds as there will also be live screening of the concert at the Stadium Roar and the Watersports Centre.
Partygoers can jump into the celebrations early with fun, family-friendly activities from 5 pm. Activities include UV face painting, glitter tattoos, gem embellishments, and balloon giveaways by sculpture artistes. The Neon Playground is also not to be missed as LED-lit swings and seesaws transform playtime into a glow-in-the-dark experience as night falls.
Pushing the celebrations a notch up are the colourful street performances and roving entertainment acts by the likes of versatile juggling comedian Mr Bee, local percussion group Bloco Singapura, bubble artist CJ Bubble Girl, fire twirlers and a street magician.

Come Together at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay
Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay will present Come Together, a series of free music performances throughout December at the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre and Esplanade Concourse.
On New Year’s Eve, be blown away by bands, The Midnight Suns and Pure Fantasy, who will be collaborating to present original songs and covers across genres like blues, country, and rock from the 70s – 90s. Throw it back to the 90s and 00s with quintet Roseville Deluxe, who promise captivating live arrangements of favourites by Backstreet Boys, Evanescence and Snow Patrol. With a voice that has been compared to the likes of Hozier and James Bay, singer-songwriter Daniel Sid will round out the line-up, presenting classic tunes and his original music such as greener grass. With the beautiful Marina Bay skyline as a backdrop, accompanied by the dazzling fireworks, this night of live performances will have you up and, on your feet, dancing your way into 2025.

Brightening Lives
Another feature of the New Year’s Eve countdown to 2025 is Brightening Lives. This is a captivating series of light projection shows presented in partnership with The Majurity Trust, a local philanthropic organisation.
This year’s light projections will showcase a series of original artworks created by artists with disabilities from ART:DIS, a local non-profit organisation which seeks to provide learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities through art.
From 26 to 31 December 2024, the facade of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore will come alive with projections adapted from three newly commissioned artworks, in addition to five existing artworks that reflect what it means to thrive in Singapore. Running every 15 minutes from 8 pm to 10:30pm nightly (with an additional last show at 10:45pm on 31 December 2024) – the vivid artwork projections will collectively unfold a story of tenacity, resilience and progress, portraying life’s journey from childhood aspirations to overcoming challenges, ultimately envisioning a society where everyone can grow, contribute and thrive.
Our Tampines Hub Countdown
Are you ready to dance into 2025? Our Tampines Hub will be ringing in the New Year with Tampines residents with a KPOP Dance and rock-themed celebration – with exciting festivities and dazzling fireworks.

Countdown in Orchard
On 31 December 2024, New Year’s Eve, visitors to Orchard Road will enjoy a special countdown segment featuring unique content and mesmerising augmented reality effects at midnight at Hilton Singapore Orchard.
Movie Marathon & Fireworks at Palawan Beach
Light up your New Year with a breathtaking fireworks display at Palawan Beach, with free activities such as movie screenings and more. Watch movies like Minions: The Rise of Gru, Pirates of The Carribean: Curse of The Black Pearl and Stardust from 5.15 pm onwards.
At the stroke of midnight, Sentosa’s night sky will come alive with a cascade of colours and sparkles. Prime viewing spots include Sentosa Sensoryscape (Glow Garden), Palawan Green and along Palawan Beach.

CQ Spectrum Countdown: THE NEXT STAGE
Looking to countdown in a futuristic way? CQ SPECTRUM COUNTDOWN: THE NEXT STAGE is a futuristic themed New Year’s Eve event with music, art and experience zones that will run day and night. Expect game world aesthetics, futuristic neon lights and holographic landscapes!
From 27 to 31 December, visit the Experience Zone and build your personalised game avatar and player suit at the AI Avatar Generator Booth, test your reflexes at the Speed Strike Reaction Game and recharge in between quests at the Charging Zone photobooth. A minimum spend of $20 in a single same-day receipt is required to participate in the AI Game Avatar Booth.
On 31 December at 8 pm and 11 pm, gear up for a mesmerising countdown event as night falls, with two drone show displays over the Singapore River, lighting up the sky in a spectacular prelude to the countdown. Viewing zone is at Read Bridge.
