Punggol residents can look forward to a series of activities being held in conjunction with Singapore’s birthday at One Punggol’s National Day celebrations 2024, taking place at integrated community hub on 3 and 9 August, and Heartland Celebrations at an open field beside Punggol MRT on 10 August.
One Punggol National Day Celebrations
One Punggol will be hosting its National Day 2024 Celebrations on Saturday, 3 August and Friday, 9 August 2024, with exciting family-fun activities and LIVE screening of the National Day Parade at Celebration Square.
On 3 August, there will be fun-filled activities and entertainment such as stage performances, movie screenings, fitness workouts, and fringe activities such as arts & craft workshops, bouncy castles, as well as arcade games for the whole family.

Young children and their families can enjoy the Candy House Bouncy, Rainbow Bear Ballpit, as well as Flash Dash and Basketball arcade games.
There will also be various craft activities including making DIY Merlion plushies, paper puppet dragons and Red Lion parachuters!
Get into the celebratory mood with a heartwarming sing-along – ‘A Fun Night of Singing’ featuring both familiar and evergreen National Day tunes performed by local busking group Voltera.
You can be sure that there will be crowd favourites such as Home, Di Tanjong Katong and more to get everyone into the National Day spirit.
On 9 August, the public can take part in fun-filled carnival activities and watch a live screening of the National Day Parade at Celebration Square from 5 pm.
Look out for the State Flag Flypast which will be flown by RSAF Chinook helicopters and escorted by two RSAF Apache helicopters via the Eastern Route which includes the Punggol district around 5.45 pm to 6.30 pm.
Six F-16s will also conduct a flypast from around 6pm to 6.30pm.
Admission to the One Punggol National Day celebrations is free and open to the public.
Heartland Celebration @ Punggol on 10 August
The National Day festivities continue on Saturday, 10 August with the Heartland Celebration @ Punggol – located at an open field beside Punggol MRT.
Look out for community group performances on stage, static displays of SAF, SCDF and SPF vehicles, viewing of fireworks displays, as well as carnival and family activities.
NDP packs will also be given to those attending the celebrations (while stocks last).
