Plantation Plaza at the Tengah estate has opened. While there are still a limited number of outlets open within the shopping mall, it does bring with it more options for residents living in the Tengah neighbourhood. We take a look at the Plantation Plaza food, shops and more as of its opening.
Overview of Tengah Plantation Plaza
Plantation Plaza is located at Block 127 Plantation Crescent. The shopping mall has a total of five-storeys – a basement and four levels above ground.

On the ground floor, there is a large open atrium that can be used for events.
In the future, Tengah Plantation Plaza will have more than 70 shops. These include dining, retail, services and recreational options. The tenders for these have mostly been awarded and they will be progressively opening within the next couple of months. However, currently, most of the units are bare.
There will also be a retail street linked to Plantation Plaza and to Blocks 126A and 127A Plantation Village in the future.
The retail street will also serve as a covered walkway that connects Plantation Plaza to the future Tengah Plantation MRT Station.
Plantation Plaza is also connected to the Plantation Village estate.
Plantation Plaza Food
At its initial opening, there are two food locations at Plantation Plaza.
The main Plantation Plaza food option at the moment is a Koufu food court on the third floor of the shopping mall. the 372-seater food court has around 12 stalls with some of them still in the midst of opening.
The food court has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The outdoor seating area has a nice view of the Plantation Farmway, a linear green connector, and the future community club building
Here is a look at the various food stalls at the Koufu food court at Plantation Plaza.
You will find a chicken rice stall.
Pick and choose your favourite yong tau foo.
There is also a stall selling snacks like you tiao.
Get scramble egg rice.
Ban mian and fish soup is also available at the food court.
There is a Japanese cuisine stall.
A western food stall is going to be opening. We hear that it could be opening as soon as next week.
There is also a mixed rice stall.
And a Korean food stall.
The longest queue belongs to the drink stall at the food court.
All food stalls at the Koufu food court offer a budget meal option priced at $3 or below, and the drink stall offers coffee and tea without milk at $1 each.
We understand that Halal food options will soon be available at the food court too.
There is also a McDonald’s outlet on the first floor.
You will find USB charging outlets at the McDonald’s.
Other restaurants and food outlets that will be opening at Plantation Plaza in the future include Thai restaurant I Love Sukhothai, Lau Wang Claypot Delights and Japanese restaurant Kei Kaisendon.
Plantation Plaza Shops
As mentioned earlier, most of the shops are still not yet open at Plantation Plaza.
What is open is a Giant Supermarket located at the basement of Plantation Plaza shopping mall.
The Plantation Plaza supermarket is open from 8 am to 10 pm daily. It can be reached via a travellator or lifts.
The opening of the supermarket makes it much more convenient for residents to buy their groceries and everyday needs.
Other shops that will be opening at Plantation Plaza include Daiso, Sketchers and Happy Fish Swim School.
Plantation Plaza Playground
There is a small Plantation Plaza playground located on the fourth floor of the shopping mall. This was accessible via a lift when we visited on 28 June 2024.
The playground is quite a simple one and suitable only for very young children. Thankfully, there is a larger outdoor playground at Tengah Farmway, just in front of Plantation Plaza.
Older kids will prefer heading to the other Tengah playgrounds such as the Fruit Truck playground which is just on the other side of Plantation Crescent from Plantation Plaza.

Here are some other useful things to know about Plantation Plaza.
There is a car park at Basement 1 with a drop off point.
There are diaper changing rooms at Basement 1 and Levels 2, 3 and 4.
