At the centre of the Pokémon Ga-Olé Station at Suntec City is Singapore’s biggest snoozing Snorlax which stands 2 metres tall and spans 2 metres wide. Just beside the Snorlax is a cute Pikachu, almost a quarter of Snorlax’s size.
Fans can channel their inner Pokémon Master and play out their own epic Pokémon adventure at the red-and-white machines at the massive training ground.
What is Pokémon Ga-Olé
Pokémon Ga-Olé is an arcade game concept from Japan that combines physical and digital gameplay.
Players can place physical Pokémon Ga-Olé disks onto a special reader, summoning Pokémon to engage in thrilling battles on huge 50-inch vertical screens.
The unique game combines elements of strategy and disk collection in its variety of interactive gameplay modes where players can play solo, build teams, compete in battles, and strive to collect every Pokémon.
Its vibrant visuals and experiential play has redefined arcade games and garnered widespread acclaim amongst players.
Each play costs $2 in Singapore, and players stand a chance to walk home with their favourite Pokémon Ga-Olé disks after the game.
What Else to Expect at the Pokémon Ga-Olé Station at Suntec City
In the future, there are plans for in-store tournaments to be held at the Pokémon Ga-Olé Station at Suntec City.
These tournaments will feature exciting battles, impressive prizes such as limited-edition special disks, and the chance to showcase stellar Pokémon Trainer skills.
Participants will challenge in-game battle leaders, competing for top honours and the coveted title of Pokémon Ga-Olé champion.

To celebrate the new Suntec City Pokémon Ga-Olé Station, there will be special promotions from 28 September to 6 October 2024.
On weekdays, get a free special Ga-Olé ‘Zapdos’ Disk when you play one game. Limited to one disk per person per day, while stocks last!
On weekends, in addition to the special Ga-Olé ‘Zapdos’ Disk, children under 12 years old will receive both Pokémon Ga-Olé type chart and a limited-edition Pikachu sun visor upon entry. You can also complete a survey and stand a chance in the sure-win lucky dip for a random Special Ga-Olé Disk, while stocks last. Accompanying child under 12 years old will get an additional chance at the lucky dip, limited to one chance per family.
