The playground is designed with educational and inclusive play elements for all ages, abilities and needs. A highlight is a pair of 9-metre-tall towers inspired by Gardens by the Bay’s iconic Supertrees.

The PropNex Family Zone is instantly recognisable because it features a huge wooden Families for Life mascot Becky Bunny that kids can climb inside and slide out from the back. The space is also dotted with other cute bunnies, members of Becky Bunny’s multi-generational family.
Becky Bunny, the FFL mascot, embodies the four core family values of love, care and concern, commitment and respect.
And you and your own little bunnies can enjoy exploring the various play zones, spaces and elements at the PropNex Family Zone.
Mini Supertrees and Wooden Obstacles
One of the most prominent features at the Families for Life playground is the pair of nine-metre-tall wood-clad structures. These look like a pair of mini supertrees and they are certainly befitting of being part of a Gardens by the Bay playground.
These two structures are play towers that kids can climb up and explore.
Ropes and netted platforms inside the play towers allow kids to get up to the top of the towers. And just like the supertrees at Supertree Grove that are connected by the OCBC Skyway, there is also an elevated walkway that kids can make use of to cross between the two towers.
Being so high up, they can also choose to make use of the tube slide to make their way down to the ground.
And that’s not all. The towers come alive at night with synchronised light illumination.
Around the towers, there are additional wooden obstacles. Kids can take on balancing beams and traverse across wooden logs. These elements are a great chance for parents and their kids to tackle them together – which is also great for family bonding!
Other elements include an open slide that comes down from a low mound and more.
Gardening-themed Play Area
Younger kids who may not dare to venture up the mini Supertrees will be able to explore the various play elements located behind Becky Bunny.
There is a mini market stall where they can play pretend to be selling produce and vegetables.
They can also explore the various spots like play panels and a wooden bouncy see-saw themed with vegetables.
Parents and kids can take pictures with the various bunnies all over the play area. It is a reminder to make a decision to #ichoosefamilytime.
Sand Play Area
Another feature of the PropNex Family Zone is that there is a huge sand pit where kids can engage in sand play.
Also set in the sand pit are various play elements that add to the sense of adventure for kids.
There is a red rope bridge for little explorers that spans across the sand pit along with other wooden stations where kids can enjoy some simple fun.
One nice touch at this sand play area is that tarps have been setup to provide some degree of shade at the various play stations.
Pay a visit in the evening you will find that the sandpit lights up with creative light projections. This, together with the lights on the mini supertrees play structures, are first-of-their-kind features for a playground in Singapore. These illuminations enhance the evening experience.
Other Amenities at the PropNex Family Zone
There are various wooden benches around the perimeter of the Families for Life playground. Currently, there is not much shade around the benches but there are trees planted and the shade will come in time.
You will also be able to find toilets just beside the PropNex Family Zone at Waterfront Plaza.
