How Siblings Day Came About
Siblings Day was created by Claudia Evart in honour of her late brother, Lorenzo.
Evart founded the Siblings Day Foundation in 1997 as a way to remember her brother and to help others celebrate the bonds between siblings.
The Importance of Siblings

Without siblings, many of us would not know how to interact with others or how to resolve conflicts. We would miss out on learning important life lessons.
Siblings also provide emotional support. They are always there for us, whether we are happy or sad. They understand us in a way that no one else can.
Brothers and sisters can be our best friends. They are the people we can count on, no matter what. So cherish your siblings and let them know how much they mean to you.
