Head to the biggest parks in the city from 29 June to 7 July for Singapore Botanic Gardens and Fort Canning Park Heritage Festival 2024. Visitors can participate in activities and immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the well-loved parks with rich heritage and stories.
Programmes and events at the Heritage Festival include concerts, guided tours, workshops, craft activities and more. Organise a family get-together to enjoy the weekend out at Singapore Botanic Gardens and Fort Canning Park.

On the weekends of the Heritage Festival, families can attend all-day programmes including Digging Deep: An Adventure Game, A Botanical Feast on Wheels, craft drop-in activities and Living Stories: An Interactive Exhibition.

This family friendly activity will get the family embarking on thrilling quests through tht etwo parks solving puzzles and uncovering secrets.
Complete both the adventures at each park to claim a prize and unlock the mysteries of Singapore’s green treasures. No registration is required for this activity. Digging Deep is suitable for ages 5 and above, children 12 and below must be accompanied by adult participants.

A Botanical Feast on Wheels
Go on an immersive journey and indulge in culinary delights and storytelling about botanical origins, orchid blooms, native fruits and resilient roots. Participants get to savour the flavours and rich history of Singapore’s botanical heritage on this bus tour. A Botanical Feast on Wheels is suitable for ages 5 and above, children 12 and below must be accompanied by adult participants.

Craft Drop in Activities
Get crafty at the drop-in hands-on activities which include building a miniature brick garden and creating whimsical wind chimes. No registration is required for this activity. Craft activities are suitable for ages 5 and above, children 12 and below must be accompanied by adults.

Living Story: An Interactive Exhibition
This interactive event invites visitors to share personal stories, memories and connections to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Use the interactive platforms and prompts to reflect, express and connect with others, explore the rich dimensions of human-plant interactions. Exhibition participants will receive a seed pack that symbolise the growth and nurturing of new connections and memories.
The exhibition fosters a sense of community by celebrating the relationship between humans and nature. No registration is required for this activity. The exhibition is suitable for ages 5 and above, children 12 and below must be accompanied by adults.

Music Oasis 2024
Attend this mesmerising concert by Singapore Chinese Orchestra under the baton of Associate Conductor Moses Gay. Investigate the amazing diversity of birds found in Singapore Head to Ridley Hall for an interactive investigative session and visit “A Garden of Birds” an exhibition about birds found at Singapore Botanic Gardens held at CDL Green Gallery. This is suitable for primary school children.

In a Day’s Work
What’s it like behind the scenes of Singapore Botanic Gardens? Join the staff of the Singapore Botanic Gardens for a glimpse into the daily operations of Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage site. This activity is suitable for children 8 and above. Children below 12 must be accompanied by an adult participant.

Guided Tours
There will be guided tours to explore ins and outs of Singapore Botanic Gardens and Fort Canning Park. All tours are free, simply register 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Take part in tours on heritage, the rainforest, Apocynaceae Garden, research facilities, nature sketching, Gallop extension and more!
Transport Available Between Botany Centre @ SBG and Fort Canning Centre
Take the free shuttle bus that will shuttle visitors between Botany Centre @ Singapore Botanic Gardens and Fort Canning Centre on the weekends of 29 to 30 June, 6 to 7 July from 9 am to 6 pm.
Do note that waiting times will be longer from 1 pm to 3 pm.
