Surrey Hills Grocer at Raffles City is the brand’s fourth outlet. Inspired by the relaxed and laid-back vibes of an Australian backyard on a lazy day, the restaurant includes features like an open kitchen and a mini grocer, along with special seafood dishes.
The Surrey Hills Grocer at Raffles City opens Saturday, 15 July 2023 and adds on to their other outlets which include the OG at Jurong West and one at ION Orchard.
The outlet aims to capture the essence of an Australian backyard moment. Think friends and family gathering around on a Sunday, taking it easy with food, wine and easy conversation.

The Raffles City outlet is located on the third floor of Raffles City Shopping Mall at the new wing.
Diners are welcomed in to the 2,326 square feet space by a hand-painted mural at the entrance pillar.
Photo frames fill a wall while lush greenery create a relaxing ambiance. Large floor-to-ceiling windows tease views of Singapore’s Civic District.
Surrey Hills Grocer at Raffles City Menu
With an open kitchen, the first for the brand, Surrey Hills Grocer at Raffles City will be dishing up an outlet-exclusive menu.
Start the meal off with a bowl of Farm Style Mushroom Soup, $16 (mushroom soup with truffle espuma and garlic bread) or Crispy Soft-Shell Chilli Crab, $25 (crispy soft-shell crab with Singapore style chilli sauce, topped with tobiko, mizuna and shredded chilli).
Amongst the highlights of the mains is the King Prawn Laksa Linguine, $29 (linguine sauteed with house-made laksa sauce, kalamansi, quail eggs and tau pok).
Or select the Crispy Duck Leg Confit, $28 (crispy duck leg confit with spaghetti and white wine mushroom ragout) or indulge in Melbourne’s Mussel Pot, $36 (local farmed mussels with sausage and potato in a white wine-based soup, served with French baguette).
Also on the menu are dishes contributed by MasterChef Singapore Season 2 winner, Chef Derek Chong.
Tuck into the Crab Avo, $28 (roasted sourdough served with house-made guacamole, crab with spring onion, kelp aioli and ikura) and Barramundi, $38 (locally-farmed barramundi that has been brined and pan-seared, served with burnt cauliflower and quinoa rice with aromatic coconut broth).
Or choose the Seafood Shakshuka, $45 (spiced shakshuka made with seafood broth, served with eggs, prawns, sausages and pan seared sashimi scallop).
For dessert, there is the choice of Banana Bread, $18 (freshly baked banana bread topped with sea salt butterscotch, exotic fruit cream, crème Chantilly and vanilla ice cream), Double Fried Donut French Toast, $22 (double fried donut french toast garnished with pistachio praline, seasonal fruits, raspberry sorbet and crème Chantilly), or Mochi Egglet Waffle, $26 (a light, fluffy and chewy mochi egglet waffle drizzled with warm chocolate sauce and raspberry coulis, alongside a rich vanilla custard, crème Chantilly and chocolate ice cream).
Mini Grocer Area
Surrey Hills Grocer at Raffles City also has a smaller grocer area with pop-up display carts that take inspiration from Australian farmer’s markets. It will have selection of over 40 Australian brands for sale.
There is also an opening promotion on 15 and 16 July 2023.
